There is a compilation series on iTunes which is the best workout music I've found around recently... it's called "Euro Club Hits" and there are currently 5 volumes.... here is the link, check it out:

Let me know what u think!

If there's one thing I know, Hippies hate Slayer.

Um that link brought me to a wiki page on Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura.

Either way theres two problems with that title

1) Club Hits
2) European

Nothing against European music but not for me :D

Anything by Rammstein, especially their live cds Live Aus Berlin and the newer one Volkerball. Volkerball can be purchased as a cd/dvd combo. I've seen a lot of live and filmed rock or metal concerts. This is probably the best ever in terms of theatrics and shear crowd energy.

 WoW. I don't even have to look that up to know I'll hate it. Try some Slayer or All that Remains. WAAAAYYYY better.

I used to religiously listen to Rage Against the Machine - No Shelter or How I could Just Kill a Man as my pre-workout song right before I walked into the gym from my car. If those songs don't get you pumped I dont' know what will! As for the euro club music, I think I'll save that till my gym installs a strobe light and a fog machine.

if its any help, ive read Bill Romanowski's book and in it he talks about how calming music has been proven to be the best thing to listen to before workouts or games. I dunno really how, he didnt explain, something physiological with emotions i guess.

Prodigy - "Smack My B*tch Up" and "Spitfire"... also DJ Inphinity - "12 Inch"
...those get me fired up before a workout

I jam to Seether and Nirvana. A little Seven Mary Three and old school Creed works too. All the Post-Grundge bands!:clean:

For all those who listed metal band, please check out Darkthrone, Mayhem, Immortal, Burzum, Absu, Deathspell Omega, & Samael (album = ceremony of opposites).

It will take a little getting used it. It is the rawest form of heavy metal in existence, but once you get used to it, it will make you pump like never before!

caliban, walls of jericho, hatebreed, lamb of god...

wu-tang, jedi mind tricks, clipse...

i go a few different ways...

The past few weeks it's been all about Kingdom of Sorrow (Jamie Jasta of Hatebreed's side band) and old school Suicidal Tendencies for me at the gym.

One album that I never delete off of my MP3 player is Metallica's Kill'em All. That album never gets old. Funny, it's not my favorite album, but it gets me going for the gym.
Whiplash!!!

heavy: black dahlia murder, unearth, evergreen terrace, pennywise.
light: aesop rock, clipse, el-p, sage francis.
But if you like more of the ass shakin stuff: ghostland observatory and tokyo police club always get the job done.

lately its been Behemoth and Amon Amarth...also All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Chimaira...and TOOL makes an appearance at least once a week!

I believe you shouldn't listen to music. One should find their inner peace. Wants you discover this, your potential is unlimited.
