Aspire36 Voluntary Recall

And each time something like this happens, the sales of banned substances go through the roof because everyone knows it's BS.

I hope PAL fights this with the FDA if they can afford it.

You'd think the old pricks (pun intended) in Congress would be in favor of something like Aspire.

But again, they're getting paid by big companies (i.e. Pfizer.)

we arent a 100% sure..and I am only allowed to say a little bit..but we do a ton of advertising on aspire36..and we have had some competitors on the west coast doing what they can to slander us. there was an adverse event filed in CA..but we havent gotten that report. and we are unaware if it is true or not.

We obviously accepted it as true because the fda gave it to us and we are doing everything in our power to help them with the VOLUNTARY recall..but I cant get into too many details.. I might even edit some of my other comments. We have to be careful with what we say..

It kind of reminds me of other things about 10 years ago that worked VERY WELL that didn't have a ton of side effects, that no one knew about...until they had some higher profile advertising. Once it became popular it went away.

Now, if you aren't a super huge business with a ton of money waiting in limbo to fight a lawsuit, its going to be hard to fight anything isn't it? Huh. Looks like you lose before the fight even began.

But then again, Viagra doesn't have any side effects. Its FDA approved. It HAS to be safe. Looks like Pfizer isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Is there anyway I can just start my own country?:welcome:

Kind of like when peter on family guy founded his own country of PETORIA lol.

There were threads at BB.COM that suspected Aspire was tainted

I never believed it was taited by PAL, but I remember when it came out I posted somewhere that I have never seen any extract of a natural substance that works for over 10-12 hours. This stuff was working for 2 days. I remeber when it came out PAL said one of those "fishy" herbs in it was presented to them by one of their suppliers who they had worked with before in the past. I think it was an issue of saying we got this extract that will work like viagra/cialas and they (the supplier) might have all along been spiking it with these undetectable sidifil analogs. Thats my theory. Same thing like with if some China lab calls a sup. company over here and say "we got this extract of some herb no one has ever heard of and it puts 5lbs of muscle on you in 10 days." and the company uses it, then next thing you know some prosteroid shows up in it and its recalled.

The company (unfort.) that put the product out takes the hit. You (the US sup. company) cant really go after the supplier in another country.....esp China.

Guys we had to throw away enough raw material yesterday to make roughly 12,000 bottles of 12 count aspire36 not to mention the product in stock..it was a sad day.

damn, you guys should have called me, I would have driven down to Davie with a U-haul and got rid of it for you.......Coq DIESEL36.

No seriously, hope all this in the long run pans out for you guys.

Haha, Coq Diesel36. "Yeah it works great, I bought it from this guy named Chuck who was selling it out the back of a U-Haul truck on I-95"

i just ordered 7 bottles to make sure i get some, i might order more during the week MUAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

Zombie; said:

Stocking up big time :D

well taking in consideration that 1 bottle last me between, 3 to 5 months i have plenty of stock :) and now that i dont have a formal GF well i might use it more lol

As it stands right now, the product is discontinued.
We have lawyers working along with us regarding this, but I cannot comment in regards to the future until we know more information.

That really sucks. With the help of your lawyer and all those lab tests atleast you can show you have gone above and beyond when it came to trying to ensure your consumers got a good product. Good luck.

I hear eveyone saying they should stock up etc but I really think that people should tread with a bit of caution on this. This stuff coming from China is a derivative ?? of what you find in Cialis.. has it been tested short term or long term side effects?? For all we know it could be an inferior form of the drug that has not been picked up by the pharmaceutical companies for a reason.

I dont wanna be a smart ass but anyone who believed that something natural would have exactly the same sides and last the same length of time as Cialis was some natural herb really needs to take a look at themselves.

I have heard so much about aspire but isnt it just a bit coincidental that it last 36 hours like Cialis and has the same sides as Cialis... I will bet my house that it has the same ingredients as Cialis in it until proven otherwise. That said its a cheap legal version of Cialis so I see no harm in that, but natural...?? No way.

nobody is saying to stock up, some users(like i did) really like the product and decided to buy some to have since its not going to be produced anymore. we are not debating whats in it anymore. were just saying what are we thinking on doing.

dont try to stir some ****. as you can see most of the comments on this threads are pro PAL/Aspire36 soo tring to bring that **** up again would likely get you ignored

Personally I do not give a **** if it has something in it that was in Cialis. The thing is it worked and cost way less than Cialis.

Dave, I'm very sorry this is happening. I hope you can get a tax credit or something. The raws you had to destroy must have been worth a fortune.

About that Aspire36......

I just sent this:

I am concerned with recent actions by the FDA concerning Palo Alto Labs. One of their products, Aspire36, has recently been under a "voluntary" recall, due to the trumped up charge that the product contains scheduled substances.

I believe this to be a great mistake by this agency at this time. I disagree, and denounce the proceedings taken thus far. Unless the agency can prove, that said substances are contained in the product, much harm has come to Palo Alto Labs, which is an upstanding and respected company.
If the agency finds the product, Aspire 36, to be free of the banned substances, at minimum, a public apology is due to Palo Alto Labs.

Thank You,

I would suggest that you DON'T send anything, and esp. not what Gtarzan sent.

What most of you don't understand is:

1. The FDA will do whatever the hell they want

2. It IS political (surprise, surprise)

3. The government does not work on profit, they work on 'budget' so that's why they'll do whatever the hell they want to

My agency (not the FDA, but another government agency) works like this, and if they got customer letters like this, the deputy commissioners, directors, and head commissioner would probably shred the dumb ones and laugh at the funny ones, then proceed to shred them.

Furthermore, the issue is over a supplement, not life or death, which will make the issue less likely to really be taken 'seriously' by public responses.

The only thing that you are doing is exacerbating the problem (not in a good way) and only bringing more unneeded attention to Palo Alto Labs. It only makes the situation worse.

Just let their lawyers handle it.

This will only hurt PAL. You are suggesting that the FDA purposely tainted the supplement or fabricated a test result.

Lawyers will be able to make a better legal arguement that is more likely to stick and get results. Ephedra is a good example of what legal action can accomplish. The FDA didn't win that particular battle, so there's always hope.

I don't know about doing this, if PAL got tainted raws and lab test didn't show then it is a huge bummer. If PAL is able to revive ASPIRE with good raws that will provide less sides due to somehow the raws were the problem the FDA is talking about. Then I bet it will make the product even more popular. So going to the feds and trying to make a statement to them alone is probably not smart. Just my .02

hey DAVE, on the bright side, look at all the good will being a stand-up guy has earned you. you should be proud, john and blackjack too.

My 1 email wont do crap. I doubt if they will even read it. If so, probably by someones secretary. But i said it and sent it.

What I'm saying is that in single numbers, we will not effect the outcome on this. If the public out cry is big enough(read:votes) then something might get done to sway the issue. We ALL, as in the entire board, could band together, and do something, but short of that, the outcome is out of our hands.

Dave,
One Cane to another - best of luck.
I'd offer to help you guys if I could.

I'm rooting for PAL.

The FDA is now saying that YOHIMBINE HCL is a controlled pharmaceutical and not legal without a prescription

This could get interesting....

Depending on who you get at the FDA, they may tell you water is a drug.

Yohimbine HCL should be fine in doses under 3mg as it was grandfathered in DHSEA.

I have been told that synephrine hcl and many others were also drugs, but that was not a "official" ruling, but still meant that I could not sue them.

Yohimbine hcl has always been considered a drug to the FDA. Its in the PDR, been in there forever.

I wish there would have been more of a fight to stop the banning of the old school prohormones (esp. 4ad) and GHB.

They can't protect U.S. Citizens against "legal" drugs that cause heart attacks. They can't protect U.S.Citizens against tainted lettuce and beef. They can protect U.S. Citizens against getting reasonably priced alternatives to high priced erections. See solution above in post above.

I stocked up as soon as I read this thread. Four bottles en-route. :drunk:

so is this kinda like the whole ph/designer steroids thing.....they change a little bit of the chemical formation so its not under the list of controlled substances and sell it....
