Upcoming MMA Movie

I've been meaning to post about this movie. I've been seeing the previews for a couple of weeks now. The soundtrack sounds sick, but I'm not so sure about what to think of the movie just yet. I may end up going to see it, but I'll most likely end up watching more trailers for it online before making any decisions.

I was watching TV with my wife the other day and the preview came on and she said "look, now their making cheesy movies about MMA too." I just stared at the TV in disbelief.

It totally looks like a 2Fast 2Furious style MMA movie, that's hilarious.

The story line did seem cheesy, but I still might low key see it with a hoodie, hat and dark sun glasses on.

Stomp the Yard! Nice.

Who funds these movies, seriously? I've watched many a bad movie in my time, but I wouldn't go near any of these.

I would rather watch Rosie O'Donnel give birth than see this movie.
It looks like a mentally retarded offspring of you got served, fast and the furious and 90210

I would rather listen to you hype up McCain while eating Rosie's box than see this movie.

This movie looks awesome! I'm going to it dressed in my mma training gear and hope I can spar some other movie goers who are inspired by the movie.

No offense to any guys who practice MMA, but I'm glad I do traditional martial arts. Sure you have plenty of cheese associated with those too, but they aren't mainstream culture and therefor mocked and imitated on a less frequent basis.

I train for survival, self defense techniques to be used in life or death situations. That is what martial arts has been used for for the past 3000 years. This whole "fight for sport" thing is a little overwhelming when it's so widely accepted in pop culture.

Yeah, but if you trained MMA you could actually be good at fighting:lol:

If you think someone like me that has trained less than aggresively couldn't smash a TKD black belt in a street fight you are delusional.

Uh oh, hope this one isn't true.

LOL at that. And ya, the movie looks terrible

Did anyone ever Catch Mirco's movie? That thing was hideous. I couldn't watch the whole thing.

Summary: Some random stranger pops up around the corner and Mirco arm bars him for no apparent reason. Mirco walks about 20 yards, another random stranger pops up around the corner, Mirco straight kicks him and rear naked chokes him without saying a word. Mirko walks another 10 yards another random stranger pops out the corner and Mirko has the urge to heel hook him... and so on.

All this talk about sally dance movies and cheese racer movies and not one mention of Breakin'?

Turbo: You owe me seven dollars man.
Franco: For what?
Turbo: For teaching you how to dance sucker.

Holy sh!t, that av/sig combo is amazing. Who did Tyson say that to? Some reporter lady or was it just an Alexism?
I thought you might like that. Yeah, he said it to some reporter lady. He then goes on to say he wishes that some of the reporters had children so he could kick them in the head or stomp on their testicles, because that's the pain he feels waking up everday:blink:Long live Iron Mike!!
