Does anyone know of a place where I could purchase a good quality power rack? I'm not looking to spend a ton, but I don't want some rinky dinky thing either.

Build one? I heard a couple of guys have. i know someone on here did and i feel bad i dont remember his name, cause heis a beast of man. Ran a video training log....ugh.

im sure you could find plans on the internet. If not, just ask your local gym what company they have, or just look as most are labeled.

Goodluck

Thanks. You're thinking of Kabuki. I'll PM him. Any suggestions are still welcome, as I might want to go the easy route of just purchasing one whole.

Hard to believe you don't have the motivation to build one. Maybe just grab your buddy MJ and order one. Or maybe just stop lifting

Yea it is Kabuki, he said he wont build one tho for anyone and i doubt he has any written plans.

Hope you get something going.

Quit hatin on the MJ. I have stopped lifting, and realized now is a good time to hook my gym up. Coming back strong w/ pre-workout MJ sessions.

I'll buy some inversion boots for some serious fun:blink:

Get Poly on this thread, he'll narrow it down to 10 options out of 1200 he found available, If he's not too busy drinking vats of whole milk.

Elitefts if you want to buy a rack that will last your lifetime.

Otherwise, keep watching Craigslist. I see decent racks all the time in my area. Power racks too.

:goodpost:
Elitefts makes/carries some of the best quality products out there. My good friends father has a rack at his house from them and the thing has held up nicely.

i'll second this.

the power rack i have in my basement i found on cragslist.
i got a ton of weight, a bench and the rack (like $1,500 worth of equiptment) for just $300.

i gave you some minimal suggestions via PM a couple days ago.

Mine is a copy of the Elite rack with a few extra goodies. There pictures are good enough you can copy or give to a fabricator. they have the specs listed on the site as well.

To do it on cheap i recomend watching craigslist as well. You can come across some comercial grade stuff every now and again.

Thanks everybody.

Buki, I'm a bad searcher, and haven't found much on craigslist yet. Maybe I'll have Paul Sr/Pauly/Vinny/Petko fabricate me a Power Rack.

yeah i've decided you pretty much suck at the internet since you still don't have an Avy either:stick:

How about a Vin Diesel or FRank Mir av?

Get yourself a pic of Semtex or KG wrestling or a preying mantis and post it up.

I found a nice Semtex av, but it wouldn't fit. I don't know if I'm trying to sweat KG, he doesn't give us the time of day:sad: I miss his ridiculous comments, he's a good guy.

The wrestling pic would be a making fun of thing to me. Yeah he bailed, but did that last year during football season too as I recall.
