I Just Love My RPM!!!!

About Time!

I finally gave the rpm/drive a go together, 2 caps of each when I had to get to the gym at 6am. It was a damn good workout.

Its about time you joined the club Liv. RPM/DRIVE is certainly a stack to be reckoned with.

Now since your supplement junkie like most of us guys I'm curious to see you do a log of DRIVE sometime...maybe you could chime in on the libido/sexual aspect that I have been hearing about DRIVE doing for women...:D

Oh yeah since you mentioned a 6am workout...well hopefully you never get crazy enough to open the rpm pills or the drive pills and gun down the straight powder...I did it once because I was short on time and it was a 7am workout and well.....never ever again...whew that was some wicked sh*t....:D

Well, ALCAR i dose at 6 grams a day, 2 grams with my RPM and the rest split out over the rest of the day. So for 60 days you will need 120 grams. For the PEA, all I use is 200 mg with my RPM, thats it. So 200 mg for 60 days, you would need about 12 grams.

6 grams of ALCAR puts me in a hazy funk.

Are any of you guys worried about the short term and long term negative side effects on you body chem. of being stimed. up all the time?

Start a separate thread posing this question more in-depth and seeing what people have to say. It'll raise good discussion.

maybe all at once, but I split it up. 2 grams split 3 times per day.
Do you also take a potent antioxidant such as alpha lipoic acid with these doses? Six grammes of ALCAR daily would produce a dramatic increase in mitochondrial action that would trigger above-normal free-radical activity. A universal antioxidant such as alpha lipoic acid, or any good mix of antioxidant, might be worth considering. That is why ALCAR is typically recommended in combination with ALA.

good point strat, or Idebenone, which dsade recommended to me

I personally think that RPM isn't really doing it for me..
I feel long term energy, and thats about it..
Maybe I need to up the dose, but idk..
Says to take 2 an hour b4 working out..
Does anybody have any better ideas?

Yep! Idebenone is a good one, too. Shares a lot of similarities with coenzyme Q10, plus some more goodies of its own. May not necessarily be an either-or option, though. Both will cover a lot more ground than either alone, in terms of superior anti-oxidant protection.

I just took 3 caps about an hour ago.. Im heading the gym now, I seem to have a good amount of energy right now..
So i'll let you know how it goes..

Also keep in mind that unlike CoQ10, Idebenone is fat soluble. :)

Both Ubiquinone (the standard CoQ10) and Ubiquinol (the more potent and more bioavailble advanced form) are fat soluble.

Some of the key differences between Idebenone and CoQ10 are:

1) Idebenone possesses natural anti-depressant properties by stimulating not only brain serotonin levels, but also levels of dopamine and acetylcholine (the brain's most plentiful neurotransmitter). Furthermore, idebenone protects the brain from glutamate toxicity.

2) Idebenone is a stable antioxidant under all conditions. CoQ10, however, can auto-oxidize (and become a pro-oxidant) under conditions of low oxygen such as in conditions of stroke, heart attack, and so on. Idebenone thus has all the positive antioxidant effects of CoQ10 without the major drawback of CoQ10 under low-oxygen (hypoxic) or poor blood-flow (ischemic) conditions.

3) Idebenone is better than CoQ10 at providing mitochondrial DNA support than CoQ10, and can completely neutralize the free-radical damage triggered by iron in our bodies.

I've always read that CoQ10 is water soluble and idebenone is fat soluble. Where did you get that info from?

I always understood it such that CoQ10 was fat soluble. This link might help: Invalid Link Removed
