in my rehabilitation of my torn acl that i suffered a while back, i was taking supercissus with little effect. after some research i tried applying the product with DMSO topically to my knee to get the product right area. so i took apart the capsule and to much disbelief i noticed the cissus i was taking that was suppose to be the 10% extract was the generic bulk 5%!! not only was i dissapointed that i was putting this junk into my body and wasting my money, but the thousands of other people who are gettin ripped off also, and uspslabs is laughin all the way to the bank with out hard earned money and their false advertisment! pictures are worth a 1000 words...and heres the website that shows what supercissus is suppose to look like!!! i suggest everyone who is takin this open a capsule to see what your really gettin!!!

here is a much better product and a better quality extract!
- PrimaForce Cissus - Super High Potency!

It is almost comon knowledge in the supplement industry that color changes from season to season and batch to batch.

As you can see, the difference in extracts are still very noticeable.

SOoooooooooooooooo

Im such a beleiver in My boys at USP I just opened a cap.....this bottle was sent direct from my boy Mullet, and its greyish brown....

powders change colour a bit for many reason, oxygen getting at it, temperature, seasons,etc....i wouldnt jump to conclusions bro.

Color is a poor quality test. In fact, most MSDS's contain a range of colors for a legit substance. Unless your stuff is a totally different color (i.e. yellow, neon green, magenta), I would withhold such rash judgement. Cissus usually takes a few weeks or so before effects take full force.

Cissus is typically done via high performance liquid chromatography (which is a little more complex than dumping a cap onto a paper towel).

Regardless, I would now like to sell you some cocaine, marijuana, heroin, testosterone, HGH, or other expensive and illegal drug whose color and shape can be easily faked by something in my kitchen.

Supper Cissus RX, although a great supplement, will do nothing for a Torn ACL. Your rash judgement and complete non-scientific approach is why places like BB.com exist. Join your friends over there, please.

Come on, a Torn ACL! Only reconstructive surgery is going to ease/fix the problem. That and a lot of Vicoden.

:welcome: how familiar are you with cissus in general? maybe you could research a little not just in a few pics and then pass judgement :hammer: Usp makes quality products check the boards for reviews and logs

Before this becomes a flame fest...lets not.

Obviously cissus is not a remedy for a torn ACL. The issue of different powder colors is not beyond making someone have some curiosity or even concern.

This issue is that the original post is expressed in a tone and in a statement that is accusational and defamatory rather than inquisitive.

This individual made an assumption and a conclusion without any basis of fact or tangible evidence other than a visual.

USPLabs has issued his reply in support of his product and the discrepancy in color.

Let us not forget that capsules require excipients and flow agents (basically filler) that are usually VERY light in color and completely non-sticky.

This tends to lighten overall appearance and change the tactile feel of a product.

I'll just add that I have gotten generic drugs from pharmacies that carry color and shape information/descriptions on the labels or added to the labels because there are sometimes variances from batch to batch.

I taken multi's which have artificial coloring but will result in not every batch having the exact same color. It's good to ask questions but you shouldn't be making assumptions without additional information. This just happens when supplements aren't manufactured with artificial coloring.

Damn, I had a reply to this and I must have closed my window before making it:

a) What was your rehabilitation schedule and expectation like? A torn ACL is a major injury, and takes time regardless. Maybe your expectations were/are unreasonable.

b) As the others have stated, colour is a poor marker of extract quality. Consistency and texture are far more important.

c) It seems unbelievably shady that this is your 11th post, and go onto laud Primaforce's product.

d) As the others have stated as well, forgive me if I am not swayed by your resoundingly scientific opinion, but I am confident in our extract.

Exactly ! That has ended the or damaged the career of many football players who are world class athletes and have access to the best sports medicine in the world.

Yeah, M- A- PCL tears are incredibly severe, as they often involve both the injured ligament and the minisci and patella tendon. The ligaments themselves often serrate themselves, so to speak. In response to impact or sudden change, soft tissue cells often 'damper' (gross oversimplification) to minimize vibration within the affected impact area. In ligaments and musculature, this creates a 'serrating' effect in which the muscle and/or ligament sheers itself off. In the case of PCL/ACL injuries requiring surgery, this requires a complete replacement of the affected area, not just a suturing. This is a massive, massive, massive repair job for your body.

I know all this too well! 4 reconstructive surgeries in a year, 2 in the past 2 weeks... SUCKS!

Just rub some mud on it and get back out there junior!

SuperCissus is some great stuff - but not a miracle worker for everyone.

Folks need to keep in mind that not everyone responds the same.

1st of all i should have clarified, i had acl surgery 6 months ago and am going thru the rehabilitation process, neither here nor there...

2. my 11th post....whether its my 1st of 2000 what is the difference?????? i have 700+ posts on another board, dont understand that one...

3. if u were to buy supercissus after readin the website where they CLEARLY ADVERTISE THE 10% IS WHITER, and you opened yours and found out it WAS IN FACT THE EXACT OPPOSITE COLOR would you be pleased??? i cannot believe how many people jumped on me for this!!! i mean dont post a pic of what 10% cissus is suppose to look like if it doesnt look like it!! i dont like that and makes me think its not real!! not hard to understand that one, how could u not speculate after seeing the 2 pictures

OK Meat -- I fell in love with cissus right from jump, when the OG brown 5% stuff immediately and completely eradicated a serious case of tendonitis that had been totally unresponsive to Gluc/Chond/MSM. Yet I would still understand your concern regarding the suspicious appearance of your SuperCissus, if you hadn't immediately tried to pimp a competitor's product. Come on man, talk about "suspicious." :nono:

Besides the whole colour thing (which I'm not convinced of your argument), not all supplements work for everyone. Personally, as a USP rep, I don't get the same joint relief from Super Cissus-RX like I did the old 5%. I could start moaning to anyone who will listen (other reps/companies, bbdotcom, etc) but the fact is it has, does and continues to help people with their joint pain. Not sure it would help your knee much anyway as that is quite the injury, even post-surgery.

As for plugging another product while you moan about ours, that is pretty much irrelevant to your argument and just makes you look a joke. Good day sir.

my loads are not milky white like in porn flicks - that means that it is fake...i won't bother posting pics - lmfao

sorry meat, but i had to attempt to lighten the mood of the thread!

I just opened my bulk super cissus and it looks much like your bulk pic you posted above. That is it's brown and not grey.
