Need a good supplement that helps with endurance and strength

I'm mainly concerned with increasing endurance and strength. I don't care for size too much. Anything out there that doesn't mess with the hormones and is good for my goals?

I've heard of Drive and RPM, and they seem to be getting good reviews. But I don't want to spend too much. I'm looking for one product, and preferably under $30-35. I could also stack it with something like Basic Cuts to maybe give an extra boost since it has caffeine in it.

As for supplements, all I use right now is BCAAs during my workout. PWO, I just have a full meal at home.

Thanks for the link. I'll definitely read up more about that supplement.

Do you think that would be good to use in conjunction with creatine monohydrate?

pembroke, after a week or so, keep me updated in this thread on your progress! I'm really interested in this since it seems like a pretty good price, IF it works. Thanks.

According to this website, Invalid Link Removed , there have been a couple studies saying it increase performance, but it's typically after 6-8 weeks.

Ive been taking cordygen5 for about 3 weeks, and ive noticed the ability to do alot more activity with less oxygen. IMO its a great product.

Clout and/or Cordygen5. For both strength and endurance I doubt you can beat Clout.

Activate Xtreme for strength,it stacks well with Basic Cuts.My current stack is Act.X,Basic Cuts and Poseidon along with a few little extras like AEE and Citrulline Malate and I have gotten pretty good results.

Beta Alanine,Citrulline Malate and Cordyceps are all good for endurance as others have mentioned.

This is easy!

Get yourself the stack AN's DRIVE/RPM...this is just my personal choice. If you want solid increases in strength and endurance I don't think any other stack covers those two areas better. To each their own though...thats just my two cents!

I suggest SyntheSIZE,but I am somewhat biased.

The final version is a bit past $30-35,but the beta can still be purchased within that price range at NP.However,if you cut down on spending on BCAA's and used more casien protien (skim milk or milk protien isolate) to stave off catabolism you'd be better off IMHO.I prefer MPI as my main source of supplemental protien as it's cheaper than micellear casien with 80% casien and 20% whey.Casien releases a steady stream of aminos over a 7 hour window, which is cash-money as far as anti-catabolism is concerned.I think BCAA's are fairly redundant if protien is kept high and something to optimize meal efficiency a'la SyntheSIZE is used.

To replace the BCAA's when they run out,I'd go with Trueprotien.com or blackstarlabs.com as both are reputable sources for MPI.

If a Drive/RPM stack is an issue, for budget reasons, consider a combination of Citrulline Malate, Beta Alanine, and Rhodiola Rosea. The first two you can get bulk. Rhodiola Rosea is usually available as capsules. Be sure you get the original (Russian) Rhodiola Rosea standardized to 3% Rosavins and 1% Salidrosides. Rhodiola will stack very well with the other two. Altogether they would boost your ATP synthesis, phospocreatine levels, recovery, endurance/strength, and even cognition (due to rhodiola).

take a look at hard nutritions performance pack......ive used a month cycle of it while training mostly running/road cycling and still lifting, lifts stayed the same and endurance went through the roof, not bad for burning between 1500-2000 calories a day!

For endurance, I always recommend getting bulk Citrulline Malate, Beta Alanine, and ALCAR. This stack has worked wonders for me. I use 5g CM/3-4g BA/2g ALCAR.

Cheap too if you buy NP's bulk powders.

Would a combination of CM, BA, and ALCAR be taken pre-workout for optimal results?

Thanks for all of the replies guys. I'll definitely research more into these products throughout the week.

Yes!

Definitely take them pre-workout, but I would advise that you take ALCAR at least 45 mins prior to workout for its Lipoltytic effects to kick in as well. Citrulline Malate and Beta-Alanine can be taken your standard 30 mins prior to working out.

Big ups on SyntheSIZE. Powerful endurance and strength booster in its own right, but stacked with beta-alanine and/or citrulline malate, watch out.

Tiger style!!

I think I'm going to go with citrulline malate, beta-alanine, and cordygen5.

Once I get serious in April, I'll add creatine monohydrate, and possibly Anabolic Pump and P-Slin to it.

Now how should I dose the citrulline malate and beta-alanine?

...

Now how should I dose the citrulline malate and beta-alanine?

Citrulline Malate: about 6g daily in two doses of about 3g each.
Beta-Alanine: between 4g and 6g daily in two divided doses. Both are best on an empty stomach. On workout days, take one dose of each pre-workout (about 45 to 60 minutes). You can always add your creatine supplement.

Go with Beta-Alanine but dose it high. I split my doses 5g twice a day. Alternatively you could take a smaller dose of the slow release tablets.

I think I'm going to go with Incarnate and citrulline malate.

Between beta-alanine and citrulline malate, which do you guys think is better? I'm only going to choose one, and of the two, which one works better with creatine monohydrate?

If you have to, get beta alanine. it amplifies the effects of creatine and does pretty well with endurance, especially used in the 10g range. But really, citrulline malate stacks well with both and I recommend you get all three.

why doncha get 1/2 of each, and see which one you like better? a 100g Bulk Beta-Alanine is only under $10. :)

I decided to go with bulk beta alanine and bulk citrulline malate, instead of Incarnate since it's cheaper to buy in bulk.
