I have ON 100% Gold standard whey protein but now Im looking to add a weight gainer. Looking for one with just complex-carbs and LOW IN SUGAR!...yuck who wants sugar making you fat!

If you end up getting it and if you get the chocolate flavor, I suggest mixing it with less water so that it's a little bit thicker but it makes it VERY tasty(not that it's bad tasting with alot of water...). You'll probably still be thirsty tho, so just drink some plain water after also.

I knew the whole make your own gainer was going to come out heh. If you can buy some maltodextrin that would be a good thing to add since just about all gainers have that in um. I got good results actually from ON's Serious Mass 12lb bag it was good if you really need to bulk up and dont really mind not being so lean. Start off with half of the recommended serving cause its tough to get used to but i got weight from it and it lasted a LONG time. I also added bananas, pb etc. I dont use gainers anymore, oh wait....i just bought some Cytogainer from NP![]()
haha that PB sounds like the ****TarHeelTrainer said:Use muscle milk, some peanut butter, and oatmeal. Don't bother cooking the oatmeal, just throw it in a blender with some milk and you're downing over 1,000-1,200cal. per shake. Best tasting weight gainer and cheaper than most.
Kroger here has dark chocolate pb, white choc. pb, and cinnamon raisin swirl pb...they taste incredible but be careful with them or you will eat the whole jar in one sitting.

milk (type/percent up to you - if thin use whole milk, vit.D)
whey protein (concentrate, isolate - what ever you have)
casein protein (powder or cottage cheese - won't notice
the cottage cheese once blended)
old fashion oats (not quick or instant)
(try grinding them in a coffee grinder)
peanut butter (can be added room temp. or warmed in
the microwave - blends/incorporates easier)
fruit (banana or berries)
olive oil/flax seed oil (EFA's - once blended taste of oil(s) is
not noticeable)
maltodextrin/dextrose (if you need to increase carbs -
don't go crazy)
I use 1 cup of dry oats, grind them up in a coffee grinder (you can get one for less than $20 at walmart), add in natty pb, banana, milk, protein, and eggs and blend up into a healthy, calorie dense shake.
You don't worry about raw eggs (salmonella)?
no, been eating pasteurized raw eggs for years now without problems.
