I'm 6'6, so yeah... no comment about my max.
305 @ 175....im weak
i go with dumbells
i inclined 80'sx10 and flat 120'sx10
bodyweight fluxing at 185-190 i would like to hit a 315 bench at 200lbs but im guessing to accomplish that i need to be 200lbs shredded!
315 @ 200lbs....?sounds like you need to go heavier. Thats what has always worked for me. When I was totally natural I was lifting 355 @ 203. I was probably around 10% BF. But I was doin 6-8 reps 5 sets on flat.

im very suprised with this actually.. i WAS able to get up the 110 DBS for 10 at my heaviest set on flat but i put up to 295 after building up to it (hit 135 for 10, 225x2, 245, 275, 295)fairly easily... im almost certain i could have put up 315 or more with just a warm up and then lift. i also flucuate from 180-190.... pretty sure when im 2 bills ill be putting up at least 350... maybe more depending on my shoulders.
oh and i rep 230 on squats but not cause thats the heaviest my muscles allow... thats the heaviest my knees allow.
well when i hit chest ill see how much i bench cause i havent done so in a long time, also i have always used dumbells for such a long time i believe my muscles grew using that excersize and the BB bench utilizes different muscles so i guess its back to bench but ill stick with cable flys and incline db and inlcine db flys
Thats my warmup! lol
you warm up with the 455 lbs dbs also ? ? i thought i was the only oneThats my warmup! lol
the world, chico.....and everything in it.
actually some bodybuilders will opt for the lower weight with better form. but powerlifters on the other hand is a different story.highest is 340 at 190
but im not about max bench press, you actually have to detrain your max in order to increase your endurance (225 reps, i play sports)
I can do 225 anywhere from 21 on an avg day to 29 if im pissed off.
I really dont think max bench means anything except that either a) your a big aspiring bodybuilder or b) your lack quickness.
If this thread continues I say everyone should post their height to make us taller guys feel better. Haha!
i dont train for strength i train for volume more but recently ive been going up in weight cus im bulking. Im 195 i usually do 185x10 225x10 255x8 275x4-5 I never have a spotter and i do the real bench all the way and all the way down and i dont like to go heavy cus i dont wana have to ask for help if i hit the o **** point. I see so many people (im from Fort Bragg) doing more weight but they just move it, they dont get much outa it and they are all mostly flat chested still and wonder why. I can make 225 feel like 275 its a matter do i feel like adding the weight or making the weight i got harder.
