11-OXO for night cortisol control?

I have high nighttime cortisol only... makes for crappy sleep. I was wondering if 11-OXO is a good choice to kick it down without affecting morning or daytime levels. So, my question is... how quick does it act, and how long does it last?

Thanks.

You could probably save your money w/ something like BCAA or casien protien, maybe?

I think I have the same problem. 11-OXO worked great for me once I started taking the largest dose [4 caps] before bed. I can't predict how fast and how well it will work for you. Give it a shot, vary the dose, and see how it works.

Will do. Consider a saliva test for $140 to verify your cortisol rhythm. Google "canary club".

Perhaps you can identify with some of my observations on circadian rhythm?

Great log, thanks! I'll reply to this thread after I try it tonight.

I noticed something... post cycle required? I am already on TRT, so it probably won't matter.

Also, I am not trying to lose weight, I am actually underweight... 145lb @ 5'9"

why not try a non hormonal/ph cort blocker like lean extreme or retain2. yes, they are probably a little milder but i think it would work well if you bump the dosage up a little.

Yeah, I might do that. As long as it's more powerful than Seriphos or Relora. They aren't cutting it.

i believe the cort blocker in retain2 is the most effective aside from something along the line of 11 oxo. perhaps double the dosage and i think it would work great.

I read that 11-Oxo doesnt mess with serum cortisol level.

so you might want to try retain2 or Blaze from SAN

Retain 2 was great when i used it three times. I lost weight though in ab area. I have never heard of cortisol spiking at night most of the time its early afternooon, mid-day, postWO, other stress situations.
Id say try Retain2 regular dose week 1, double it from there if need be.
Why not just try a relaxant? GABA, SomnidrenGH, Phenibut, etc...
Either way best of luck.
PS-Cortisol is a very important hormone in the body, while you want to limit it, over supressing it can cause issues.

Take Care.

the 11-keto-testosterone and 11-hydroxy-testosterone metabolites of 11-oxo are going to be suppressive to your natural testosterone levels. So you're lowering anabolic potential by increasing anti-catabolic potential.

I'd recommend taking a forskolin-based product before bed instead. Forskolin will not only lower the catabolic effect of cortisol, but increase testosterone levels as well.
