Im back... Marraige makes me fat i guess

Well, since i got engaged (jan 06) i have been MIA from here... just recently i woke up and realized i was 60lbs overweight

:frustrate

So time for me to get back into shape. I will be working out with my wife in the mornings (she needs to lose some weight as well)

It has been interesting getting back into the flow of working out and eating right again.
Im really glad im finally motivated to do so again for sure.

Schedule
Mon: Legs - Shoulders
Wed: Chest - Triceps
Fri: Back - Biceps

Tuesday - BJJ for 1.5hours
Sunday - Swimming for 1-2 hours, laps until exhausted, then play in water till done.

Workouts start with 5 min warmup, stretching, then workout.
8-10 reps, 1 warm up set, 3 working sets. Finish with 10 mins HIIT.

Diet.
Now diet has been the hardest part, as my wife is a very picky eater, so i cant just make a bunch of healthy crappy tasting food. Fortunately she loves chicken :)

I will be trying to follow a 40-40-20 roughly. I choose not to follow a perfect diet, as i dont have the time or means.
Most food will be made at home, out of whole foods.
Eating out will probably happen twice a month, one cheat night per week (friday night popcorn at the movies) maybe thursday night as well (the wife loves popcorn)

For the most part, we will be eating a healthy, lower fat, good carb diet.

We will see how it goes i guess, and will have to adjust as we go.

Supplements used...

Multi
Creatine mono
Fish oil
Yerba Mate (drink tea 2-4 times per day, awesome stim, appetite suppresant)

I will use creatine in a 4 on - 2 off cycle for the next 3 months
during the third month i think i will get either some DCP or leviathin for me and my wife, for a 2 month cycle.

I am keeping a blog, and will make occasional updates here.
This will be probably a 12 month dieting cycle, as i need to lose about 60 lbs (starting weight 268)

Its actually kind of sad how easy it is for me to gain fat, im about as endomorphic as you can get, my hips are far broader than my shoulders.. I gain fat just by thinking about it..
Crappy carbs really get pulled into my belly, my love handles are big enough to hold onto in event of a hurricane.

Even when i was down to my leanest, it was mostly from having a boringly perfect diet, with help from mass amounts of supplements/pro steroids/trimax. As well as hours of MMA training and cardio.

Hopefully i can do it easier and smarter this time, as i have promised my wife no anabolics (but im allowed to try NHA)
Just nothing that is synthetic and shuts me down.

I think we might do a couple months melting point, but that will be starting in december or january.

Yerba Mate' tea really helps with food cravings, and the effects of low blood sugar.
The 10mins of HIIT after workouts has been really nice, and is helping with conditioning.

Tuesday - BJJ for 1.5hours

Now that you're married bro...sorry to say but you ain't gonna be gettin no BJJ for 1.5 hours on Tuesday...so scratch that off the list. If you're lucky maybe HJJ for like 1 or 2 minutes...

Down another pound from last week, BJJ yesterday was real tough... they worked on conditioning till i dropped.

My wife has a cold and sounded like crap, so i gave her the day off training, but she is down another lb as well from last week.

Thanks again for the encouragment, i need all i can get:whip:
