SuperCarb

Dude, this stuff is good. How did you make some stuff that tastes like sugar yet has a GI of 32?

My pre-workout carbs consisted of 2 Tablespoons of SuperCarb in 1 cup of oatmeal, with some raisins mixed in. Somehow that was 90 carbs, yet it gave me zero bloat, felt like I ate half that, which is cool, because I like to be ready to eat another quick meal.

Pre WO 2-3 servings supercarb + 1 cup oatmeal + 1/4 cup raisins sound good? Do I need some waxy maize?

I've been using both some WMS and SC. Good stuff. The simple/complex carb debate has ended for me!

Same here. I take them with P-slin about 45 minutes Pre and have noticed a difference since adding the SC to WMS. Longer lasting energy for sure.

I'm wondering how it is on the stomach because a lot of carbs bother my stomach and make me bloat up like an elephant.

Doesn't bother mine at all. I don't have huge bloating issues. That may be due to the P-Slin though.

Yeah, I'm with you. SuperCarb is awesome, but I'm a little biased.

That approach to pre-workout sounds good, but if you still feel a little heavy or bloated, you could even increase your SC intake and decrease your oats.

You could also add in a little WMS for pre, but it's probably best saved for post.

Like LT said, it's pretty good on the stomach. The vast majority of people have no issues at all.

Now, stomach issues might start up if you go over 50 grams at a time, but I've gone pretty far above that with no problem.

I just put in an order at The Planet for some. So I'll be trying it soon. How dense is the stuff?. What I mean is, I also use Primaforce Carbslam and that is one scoop which equals 30 grams of carbs. Its a 5 poud jug though, but yours is only 2 and some change....I know they are different products, but there isn't much in the desciption of Supercarb except that its a "sugar" with a low GI.....I think I need to read a little more about this stuff. The reason I purchased it was to get in some extra carbs without having to eat a ton of solid food. I'm eating for mass now so its hard to get extra calories in, especially from carbs since they bloat me up so damn much. The Supercarb is just basically to fill in small gaps in my diet where I would have to eat a ton extra solid for just to the carbs that I need....Are there any articles on how to use this product eficently in the way I have stated?. Even if I take only 2 servings of it a day, I still feel it would help me out.

DAMMIT..when will my shipment come in?

I am psyched to add SC into the thrive formula to try out.

One tablespoon is 11.2 grams of carbs.

But for suggestions on how to use SuperCarb, check out the Research section of our website.

We'll also have blogs in the future about how to mix it and bake with it.

Basically, though, you can take it straight (as Rivet said, about half as sweet as sugar) and it's good. Or you can mix it with a drink. Like you said- just use it to bump up your calories throughout the day and to carb load for your workouts.

Hopefully people will come up with some more recipes now that the final version of SuperCarb is out.

Think I might try making SuperCarb pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving.

My wife made a sweet potato pie the other night with the splenda/sugar premixed stuff. It came out great, but was a little on the sweet side. She wants to try it with a Super Carb/Splenda mix, but we're not sure on the ratio, and don't want to waste the Supercarb if we screw it up. Any ideas on ratios?

Edit: Or I could just check out the link above....lol.

Going to have to get some bulk sucralose and figure out how much would make the supercarb equally as sweet as sugar.
