DHEA - blood work, results and questions

my recent bloodwork came back and my DHEA was WAAAAAAYYYYY above the normal range... some 400+ above.

I have been taking 100mgs of DHEA along with my TRT and Pregnenolone everyday.

I guess I have to cut back on the DHEA a lot.

Question is: What kind of effect does a DHEA level this high have on the body and what is the optimal dosage of DHEA and Pregnenolone for a guy my size (6'3" 265 athletic)?

Keep in mind my doc doesn't write a script for Pregnenolone cream so I take OTC pills.

LEF recomends DHEA to be above usual range.

Dhea converts more to estrone then estrodial but it depends on the person which metaboltic path it follows..If it is quest test then 734 is high because quest new ranges are more sensitive up to 390 is the high. Each test has different ranges so one can not always compare left to quest ranges..i would keep pregnelone at 50 mgs and cut dhea to 50 mgs then retest in 3 week. should bring you down to the 400 range
 
well I noticed my aggression levels have gone down a little bit in the past couple months. I've been a little more tired but that's about it.

I'm going to go down to 50 mgs a day after taking a week off DHEA, what do you think?
 
I had that cream, it seemed to work well for me except for cost effectiveness it pays to go with the pills.

how about one pump and on 50 mg pill per day.

where can I find good slow release DHEA and should I stick with 50 mgs a day?

and as far as cycling pregnenolone and dhea goes, what should I do to maximize the effectiveness of these products in conjunction with my TRT over the long term?

I don't know if this helps, but I have a pump dispenser of preg cream and it says to use for 25 days and take a 5 day break.

Don't know why or if that's specifically your question.

I just bought a 25 mg timed release DHEA from GNC, it was pretty cheap. I take one in the morning with my fish oil, etc...
