Stopping in and doing a search for "dinoiii" is all and low and behold, I get the comment from RA about my suspect amphetamine addiction.

And I thought it would be left at sinner's requote from the AX forum of my thread.

I have absolutely no idea what the rest of this thread is about actually. There is no time to read it all - thread searching is all I can do and for those unfamiliar ... typing "dinoiii" in a thread is like my "bat signal."

Well, lets all hope for a swift gixx return. We all come to this board and enjoy it for different reasons. Let us all remember the main reason most of us are here is to help each other out through our own knowledge and experiences. Gixx is a great guy and does add alot to this board. We all get a little heated at times and we should learn to overlook the crap and move forward.

~weight is down a bit,but it was just water...i dont care cause the cuts and veins are rediculious.

~my boys(nuts) are seriously at about 90+%...the igf-1 REALLY helps prevent shutdown....i might extend the cycle a bit.

~workouts have been ground breaking lately...energy,and recovery are just bananas. i mean i can basicly do the same bodypart all week and not get sore!!(i dont though)...well i do tend to do shoulders alot.

Yeah - I just read 5150's thread about the BDS... dude, I read post by others far worse than what he got banned for, but yet nothing happens to them... like when a certain DKhead always runs his mouth about people's GF's or wives in a very rude manner... that sh!t pisses me off!

LOL I see what u did now Matt. Showing support for u boy. Off topic but where are u a firefighter at? I am thinking of changing over to becoming a firefighter myself. It was what I wanted to do to begin with.

How hard is the PT test? The police PT test was childs play.
 
CPAT is easier than wiping your ass. You're pretty close to Auburn, right? They are always hiring people. I'm in Columbus.

Right on, I heard that Dothan was hiring right now. I would like to get on there or here in Ozark first and then move somewhere else. I could always apply there and tell me wife well we got to move lol.

Whats the fire college like? The Police acd was straight military style up there in Selma. Those Troopers were no joke.
 
Recruit school can be hard as sh!t or fun as sh!t - just depends on where you go. I had a blast - reminded me of my frat days. Yeah, Dothan is a good department. I had an offer from Dallas Texas for a Sergeant position in there training division, but between me working on my Masters and the fact my wife and I just built and bought a house - thats' not happeneing.

Cool cool, I def need to work on my cardio. Isn't one of test where u wear a weighted vest and run on a stair climber?

So they kinda treat the fire college para-military too? Alot of guys here in Ozark get on here and move off to Ft Rucker, but its been awhile since they have hired anyone. How hard is the written test? Thanks for the info Matt.
 
The entire CPAT test is done with you wearing a weighted vest - no biggie. It's just to simulate the weight you would be carrying around with you on scene. You should do fine.

The written test is just full of tricky questions. Just make sure you read the question carefully because sometimes it will answer itself. I know departments say they are "Para-Military" but being actually from the MIL - I call BS on that one.

Thank u very much for the ur input. I hate the PA because of the para-military style. Marching was a *****, if I wanted that I would signed up with the Marine corp lol but I know they had their reasons for it. I remember right after the PT was over it got really silent and next then u know they were yelling at us, it took everything for me not to laugh. But this guy behind started to puke i guess while we were holding the pushup position and the instructor laid all into his ass. It was somekind of funny. Anyway thanks man.

i really hope they accept me.........i went on a tour of the academy and it looks sweet.the dude said they only enroll like 35-40 people per year.........i hope to god i get in.....do you have to be a volly first or something?

I did the volunteer fire department in highschool for a couple years.. that was the Sh1T! It was in a tiny country town so it was real laidback. I miss those days
