Ha, I'm sure it will eventually become the new 'trendy thing'. One person starts doing something and eventually everyone follows, like how all those new supps are all hype.

Sell direct PA and make it cheap. Fcuk, I'd buy 6-OXO out of damn plastic zip lock bags with 'ErgoPharm' written on it in permanent marker if it meant cheaper prices. Keep the price low.

I had to write a review on this. I went to the liquor store a few days ago and saw this. This is a 16oz beer made by Budweiser with caffeine, guarana, other stuff, and flavored raspberry. It is also 6.6% alcohol...something like that. In fact, at the very bottom it says 'Beer with a little extra'.....something like that I don't have the can in front of me.


I took a vacation out to St. Louis and visited the Budweiser plant out there. After the end of the tour, I did not recall seeing this as something they were selling. I could be wrong, but I don't remember it.

I drank the whole can a few days ago and that was it for the night. I was kinda buzzing but nothing too extreme. While I was drinking it, I could feel the alcohol hitting me, plus the raspberry taste which is....eh ok. I used to mix cranberry juice with beer and that seems to taste better than raspberry.


After my buzz went away.....like 1.5 hrs later I was somewhat more alert. I know this is a new thing they are trying to do, but IMO it is stupid. I first got sleepy from the beer (i always get lethargic when I drink), then awake after the alcohol's effects wore off ? Oh well, whatever. I proceeded to join it with my other cans.

My guess would be to venture they are trying to create a cleaner buzz that isn't so groggy.....with all the alcohol+stims out there, but mixing the whole 'upper' with a 'downer' at the same time isn't for me.

It's either one or the other.
 
I've been contemplating making my own website to continue my reviews instead of doing it on this forum/thread for several reasons. I'm not sure if I will yet.

I like Spike Shooter. The times I've used it, it seems like it just 'lifts' me enough but does not overkill it. For the way they label it/describe it, you'd think it'd be as bad as Redline or something. It is just pure stims though, no nitric oxide, etc.....it is still good though. I went to vitamin shoppe today and bought a few 4 packs since they are STILL out of Endorush.

Red Bull isn't that bad. If I drink 2 cans back to back it is enough to get me going. Red Bull seems to give a bit more kick than the other stuff that is out there.

Whenever I check the internet for energy drinks, I always keep seeing people with their own website and I keep thinking to myself that it would be a good idea to start one too.
 
Have you tried TRAC NO Extreme by MHP? It's my personal favorite. I frequently catch myself uncosciously pacing in between sets after a single serving. It's just about the only supplement that I use LESS that what's recommended on the bottle.
 
Reaper, I have a COMPLETE list of every energy drink ever made with the mgs of caffeine as well. (I'm LDS and it was given to us in a seminar about drinking caffeine and it's effects on children.) If you'd like, I can scan/post that for you, there's A LOT more than you would imagine.

I think I recall that you said each tube of Morning Spark contained 200mg of caffeine ? How do you know this is the amount that is in there ? I was looking at the quantity and it is propriety blend. I still enjoy drinking it and actually I've also tried some of the other energy drink bottle mixes as well. Plus you can't beat the pricing it it.


Anyways, the reason why I ask is because when I drink it, it hits me at about 130mg of caffeine. At least in my past expierence with drinking 200mg, it has been different. Approx. 200mg is enough to get me 2/3rd awake in the morning, when I drink morning spark I feel like I'm only 1/2 awake at best.

I didn't put a rating on BUD-e. I didn't like it, the flavor was a little sweet IMO, plus the whole mixing alcohol+caffeine at the same time has never been a thing for me. You should try mixing cranberry juice+beer. Cranberry has a more tart taste and offsets the beer flavor in a decent way. The artifical flavoring in the BUD-e was quite sweet.
 
This past weekend I got pretty buzzed then drank an Endorush about 1 hr later. Its kinda weird, it kept me wired and felt like it made me sober (even though I wasn't).

I believe Clear Shot does need more marketing and familarity. Off the top of my head, the only place that I know sells Clear Shot is bb.com and nutraplanet.com Do you intend on expanding the product in more stores once trials are complete ?

I find buying certain ErgoPharm products to be difficult. The primarly products sold are AMP, GF Pro, 6-OXO, and Mass Meal. Other items like All in one, 1-NO, Clear Shot, and StaminO2 are much harder to find.

Haha. Nevermind. I think I mis-interpreted your post. Did you say you were going to change the label or keep the old one ?


I like to keep my old Clear Shot bottles and use them as shot glasses. They are un-breakable and dishwasher friendly too.

i am not sure if you understand how difficult it is to get a store to carry your energy drink. its not like we don't try. and its not like everyone knows that much about ergopharm and wants to give us a shot. 95% of the time its like "oh, you were the guys that sold 1-AD, gee man i thought you guys went out of business"

I picked up 3 different cans of Monster Java about 1 1/2 months ago. They have 'Big Black', 'Loca Mocha', and 'Mean Bean'. I'm not really a big fan of coffee, but when I saw these in the refridgerated shelves I had to get them. The 'Mean Bean' has a slight vanilla flavor, and 'Loca Mocha' has a chocolate-ish flavor.


To be 100% honest with you, I really can't tell the fcuking difference between all three. I don't drink coffee at all b/c I hate it and to me they honestly all tasted the same packed in 3 different containers.

I liked all 3 of them and they contain essentially the same 'energy blend' as a regular Monster drink. I liked the taste too, esp. for not being a coffee drinker either.

I have 3 different series that I have collected so far:

-I got all the Monster cans currently made
-I also have all the Full Throttle cans made
-I just got the last of all the Rockstar cans made....they keep adding new ones all the time.

*I really want to finish up all the 'Freek' ones, I only have 1 as of right now.

RATING: 10/10. Honestly, I can't think of anything that is bad about these coffee drinks. They taste good and I like them, which is impressive b/c I usually don't like coffee in general. If you are a coffee drinker you should try this out.
 
I usually don't like buying all the flavors of a can just cuz. Some are neat to have though which is why I have all of them for Rockstar, Monster, and Full Throttle.

I typically will just buy one of each of the items esp if the only difference is the flavoring.
 
p.s. I'm gonna have to try some MHP NO Trac Extreme sometime.



If I need to, I dump a tube of Morning Spark+1 scoop of 1-NO for the 'stim' feeling for my Pre-WO.

My friend liked 1-AD alot. In fact he has like 8 bottles frozen in his fridge and is asking for $150.00 each bottle. I think they all expired back in May this past year. hm.


I do realize how hard it is to pitch a product line. Places like GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc want to make sure they get a product that will sell and try their best to pick the best to piggyback so they can cash on it too. Picking up a new product is a huge risk for them.

It's no big deal. Whenever is ok. I'm not aware of Rockstar Cola, that's something I'm gonna have to look into.

bah FUDGE! I just woke up, I went to warm up a bit and ended up passed out.. so weak.. anyways rockstar cola was from like 04-05 they discontinued it forever ago.. but was by far my fav energy drink of all time.

I'll update this later on with a review/info. Out of all those pics, I've only drank the sugar-free one. The rest are still sealed and need to be drank. I only have 5 out of 7 of this series. I'm still trying to hunt down the other 2....1 of them is fairly new so it might take some time.


My Monster collection used to be my favorite one b/c of the gold cans from the Java, but I really like the Freek series too.

Rockstar series suck IMO, and I'm not really digging the Full Throttle ones either.


Only Monster/Freek are the cool ones.

The make National Beverage makes also 'Rip It' and 'Rip it chic'. Freek is their newer line that they carry out. The bold backround and the skull or whatever it is on the face is to try and use a catchy marketing angle to sell.....well the same stuff as everyone else does. The reason why I like the can is the marketing is unique at least for me. Many different companies seem to create some type of 'light-hearted party scene' or 'Lots of flashy colors and designs' for their cans, which I suppose is appropriate being that it is an 'energy drink.'


The unique thing about Freek is that the design is anything but that. It has a darker/shady image with bold lettering and 'evil' graphics. Monster has 'sorta' done thing with the claw scratch thing, but not really. The zombie or skull...whatever you want to call it, I have not seen anything like that out so far.


Hanson makes Monster. National Beverage makes Freek. Hanson (Monster) sued Freek awhile back for 'having similar print' on their cans...something to that degree. They further add that the customer might get confused and buy the wrong one. Wow. The links are below.

I stated before I have only tried the sugar-free can as of now. The taste is good and it is more pleasant vs. most energy drinks.

RATING: 9.5/10. They have 7 different flavors. There are only a small handfull of companies that have over 5 different flavors....more or less 7. The graphics/marketing is unique and I like the image, in fact the opening tab color matches the color of the lettering of the print in front of the can. The cost is cheaper than Rockstar/Monster.....I bought mine for just about $1.00, the only other drink you can get that cheap is Rip It....and they are both made by the same company. What's the bad ? There are several other energy drinks out there that have a better blend of ingredients than this does. I mean literally it is to the letter the ingredients in here and could stand to have a few more things added....like Kronik or Hogan Energy drink.
 
I know primarly supplement companies make the 'real energy drinks' like Endorush, Clear Shot, Ripped Fuel, Redline...those are the ones that really give you energy.....or atleast a big stim feeling.


Stuff like Rockstar, Freek, Monster, etc are all basically the same thing packed under different cans. The biggest difference among them is the taste. They pretty much follow the same vitamin b dosing, guarana, etc dosings to the line. Despite them basically 'being the same' I enjoy collecting all the different brands out there.

*The only one that I would say gives me a jolt that ISN'T made specifically by a supplement company is Red Bull. For some reason those things just give me a bit more of a punch. The rest of the other typical run of the mill stuff is what I like to sip on while I'm in my cubicle doing nothing. They just barely keep me awake.

I heard of a rumor that there is a 'Monster energy water' only on the 'Warped Tour'. WTF is that supposed to mean ? I can't find anything on this supposed energy water.

After the second Clear Shot that Patrick gave me, I'm going to take a small break from stims. It has gotten to the point where I can feel my tolerance is elevated higher than it should be. Typically a 2 weeker with no stims does the trick. The shltty thing is that I have a huge ass headache from caffeine withdrawl.

Caffeine is my pref. stim. Other stuff like ephedrine, yohimbe stuff like that makes me paranoid.


I typically run stims hard for about 4 weeks then take 2 weeks off.
 
A proper energy drink database that is search able via ingredients would be great.
IE: "Caffeine:100mg Tyrosine:100mg" searching the Internet by hand is annoying.
 
They already have something like that out there that lists 100+ energy drinks and their content, that is if it is not propietary blend.

Hooah claims to be made by the U.S. Military, "formulated by the military researchers to improve mental and physical performance." Yeah the problem I have with that is it has no caffeine, it is just sugar and carbs, which I guess might be good on a long hike, but it isn't exactly a pump you up and wake you up, this is like a Gatorade fruit punch. It just doesn't have any energy ingredients in the drink, it is a bunch of different sugars and carbs absorbed as sugars like, Maltodextrin, which "Maltodextrin is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose." Yeah so this might be good if your going on a run or trying to rehydrate after getting a hang over, but don't expect any more of a energy punch than you would get from Hi C.


I'm not going to rate drinks anymore or really go into too much detail about them, just posting the ones that I've tried and general information.

I managed to get all the old school 'Freek' energy drink cans (there was 5 of them) that were discontinued due to being sued by Monster (Hansen). In the article I wrote earlier you'll remember that Monster sued Freek energy drinks because people might get confused with the 2 energy drinks and its appearance. This really was just a bunch of shlt trying to move another energy drink company out. Either way I got all the new ones and the old discontinued ones. Good stuff.

I bought this drink awhile back and I was really surprised to see it. I think that I got this at some hole in the wall gas station while I was out doing inspections. The drink tasted like pee and was not really that good. I'd probably compare it to a rotten Monster taste. Neat can, and it was piss cheap.



I'm going to Hawaii for a cruise and I hope to see if I can snag some interesting energy drink cans over there.

A: Every energy drink that I get gets opened up and drank. Sometimes if it is really bad or I don't like it I will dump it out, but there only have been a small handful of drinks that I've done this with. I don't plan on trying to make money off them or anything of that nature, the cans are solely for my enjoyment/collection.

I drank this on the way to work this morning. If I looked at the can closer I might have the big tomato picture on front, but of course I didn't. Opening it up I immediately noticed a weird smell from the can. When I drank it, it turns out to be none other than TOMATO JUICE. Weird, I thought. It tastes decent, similar to V8 and I like tomato juice.


I am not exactly sure on the origin of this drink, althought I didn't look too hard, it is a hispanic based blend of tomatoes, onions, celery and spices with a dash of clam juice/spice taste. This drink has all your run of the mill energy ingredients, but it tasted good and def. original.

I have not actually tried this yet, it came in the mail yesterday. I bought it online and it is pretty cool.

This can was made for the 35th anniversary of the movie 'Deep Throat'.

...I'll let you know how it tastes. Probably has spunk or something in it.

I also recently bought this energy drink as well. It is made by Jones soda. I have not yet drank it and it is sitting in my refridgerator. In fact, I have approx 15 unopened energy drinks sitting in my fridge waiting to be drank. Looks like I'm buying them much faster than I can drink them.

I've heard about this drink from one of my friends who travels all over the US for his job. I thought the can was humourous.


Hey check out the label 1g of protein, but it has 2 servings meaning= 2g of protein per can beotch ! uh-huh. Get anabolic baby.

I bought a Spike Shooter 'Quila Lime from vitamin shoppe the other day. All I gotta say it VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY good tasting shlt ! I like the regular one, but wow ! the new lime flavor tastes awesome to me. f.uck yes ! I am so happy with their new flavor.

definitly gonna buy more of that flavor.

Hahaha... I actually drank the can about 2.5 hrs before I went to bed and I couldn't sleep last night till 2:30am.

+9 million/10. Best tasting energy drink I've had so far hands down.:box:

I'm willing to bet it contains L-Tyrosine and D,L-Phenylalanine, and that's where they've gotten off saying there's protein in it.

I'm kinda interested to see how Jones Soda does energy. I love their drinks, especially fufuberry. If you're ever looking for something to cheat with....you may wanna try this.
