  1. Fun day! I'm going to have to do some C&P with the new axle bar we got at the gym. I prefer benching on it, though. A fat, hollow bar makes me look like I'm strong.

    Really trying to figure it out transitioning from the belly to the rack position after switching my grip. I had a hard time popping it up into the rack.

    I had no problem doing that, I just couldn't pop it up to the rack off the belly. I finally got the last one by dipping, triple extending, then dipping to catch.

    That sounds about right, the axle C+P is rough man. There really isn't a lot you can do to technique it better, find a way that works for you and practice the **** out of it.

    Not sure what you mean, as in Dave advocates more rest or less?

    I like it this way for the work capacity; I just do as many sets as possible until my speed drops off, then shut it down.
