PNI Treatens Wilpit's Fat
Big shout out and thanks to Luke Cameron, Eric Broser, and PNI. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this routine and I will put my all into it.
Goals: lean out, showing abs
Weight: update tomorrow
Products: PNI Prodigy, Thermadex, and Paragon
Diet & Routine: created by Luke Cameron of PNI and is also a Broser Built Trainer. I'm cool with the diet. A couple things I haven't done before is,when cutting, eat carbs lol. It's not much but more than I aim for because I am for close to zero other than what I get from veggies and what is in protein powder. Second is I always counted my green veggies but on this plan it is considered a "free food". Should be a fun ride.
Now with training it's a little different. I am resting from weights 3 days a week. I am a 6 day a week guy, period. So 3 days rest is new to me. Now I will be doing cardio on the rest days but it's limited to 30-40 min walking on treadmill at an incline. I usually hit long sessions while cutting with fast pace running or other high volume techniques. I'm looking forward to seein what letting my body rest more will do. Also I'm splitting body parts like I haven't In the past, for example shoulders are two different days, Rear delts are done on my back day. Also working on different lifting tempos, diff techniques, and diff sets and reps each weak. I never paid much attention to switching my routine or tempo so this should be good.
Skeptical: I am optimistic about the rest days and how my body will react to them but 3 days a week without lifting and only doing liss has me worried. But I'm ready to do this and get results. Thanks again.
I will post up pictures and stats tomorrow. I want to take them all right before I start this log.
Game time boys. I'm not forgetting this is a competition as well.

Figured Id post pics of where I have been and my transformation so far. I used to be 285 lbs at 5'8". I have gotten down to about 195 at one point. Been a long road and I'm ready to go the extra step and actually get super lean.
285 on left and about 205 on the right
265 at the fat pics and about 200 on leaner pics
I'm not as lean now but I am ready to make moves.

Well, I realize I have tons of work to do. But I'm Ready. I have a long road ahead of me.
I could not find my fat caliper so I could not measure my body fat percentage. I did however take pics and measure myself. So here goes.
Chest relaxed: 48.5"
Shoulders relaxed: 52.5"
Waist at belly button and around largest part of love handles: 39.5"
Waist below love handles: 38"
Thighs flexed: 26.5"
Calves flexed: 16.5"
Forearm flexed: 13.5"
Arm flexed: 16.5"
Neck relaxed: 16.5"
Starting weight: 213.8
pic is a little distorted of scale bc I had to lighten the picture.
I don't know how to flex FYI

My chest is pretty big. Actually the first time I ever measured myself other than my arms and thighs but I'm sure I did it right.
Bean, thanks for joining man. I was doing a lot better but the last two weeks I put about 4 lbs on and lost some ab definition. I need to stay consistent. I think I'm ready now.

Took my thermadex this morning on an empty stomach and within 5-10 minutes I could feel it kick it. I got that annoying jittery feeling and a little stomach discomfort. I cooked my breakfast and took my paragon with breakfast. This was about 20 min after taking the thermadex. It took about 1.5 hours for that discomfort to wear off. I had 61g of carbs for breakfast (including my free foods) which is the most I've had for breakfast in a long time lol.

Did 30 min moderate cardio on treadmill after meal 1 directly before meal 2. Could tell thermadex was working bc I had a steady sweat starting about 5 min into the cardio.
Start with 10 min stair steeper for warm up. Burned 148 calories. About 5 min into warm up I feel my neck starting to tingle. The Prodigy kicking in. This is about 15 min after taking 1 scoop.
Tempo 4/0/X on all lifts
Rest 3-5 min between sets. Didn't take more than 3 Min on each set. I was recovering before that time.
WG BW pull ups ( chains feel about 25/30lbs per chain)
BW x 10 warmup
BW+1 chain x 6
BW+2 chains x 4
BW+2 chains x 4 (RP at 3 for 5 seconds then hit 4th)
BWx 5 to get loose
WG BB row
135x10 to warm up
One arm DB row
Underhand grip pull downs
305x4 Full rack
Partial rack Deadlift
225x6 warmup, hamstring crazy tight
405x4 Killer way to end back session
Tempo is no F'ing joke for this workout
Seated DB bent rear lateral
Standing rope rear delt row
95x6 full rack
95x6 full rack
95X20 no tempo just one fluid motion per rep
95x10 Full rack, heavier cable machine being used. Next time go lighter for the required reps. Crazy burn though
Supported bent knee raise
BWx16 using tempo
BWx16 using temp crazy burn, hurt to get all 16
All the lifts burned deep using that tempo. I'm loving it. Workout was long bc of rest periods and I didn't take longer than 3 min. It took about 105 minutes with 10 min warmup included. No time for cardio afterward but I may hit some LISS before bed.
Prodigy at 1 scoop was noticeable but didn't have an extreme burst of energy but it def worked. My focus was right on point. I had energy throughout the entire long workout, and I was able to hit heavy weights even at the required tempo. May try two scoops on leg day.
Took my 3rd dose of paragon and my 2nd dose of thermadex after my workout with my post workout meal. About 30 min later I was jittery and felt hot. I actually had a heart burn feeling for about 45 min as well but that subsided. Jittery feeling lasted about 2 hours. I was sweating after simple task for the next several hours though.
Macros (including "free foods")
Also, random pic of weights I used for my pull ups.

I am tired or real food already lol. I have about 35lbs of Gaspari Nutrition Myofusion protein powder but have not really been using it bc it is high in carbs. I didn't want to have to buy zero or low carb protein powder but I'm so tired of food I went and purchased some Isopure cookies and cream. Also got some Gold Standard Casein and ON Hydro-Whey. Those last two are actually very low in carbs so they should help fit my macros better.
