Thats how you gotta do it man. I will NEVER do a fad diet ever again. I will give my body what it needs - sometimes what it wants and at the same allow myself to enjoy it. I cant imagine living any other way

Your diet makes me feel like such a sloth. I don't eat "bad" but I don't eat THAT clean either.

I gotta get rid of these carbs I ate somehow

Haha. Eat a bunch of Metamucil.

I may eat clean, but you get to eat all those sweet sounding ethnic foods I've never even seen before. Even though I used to live in Chicago, I've never even heard of some of the foods you've mentioned.

No idea. I haven't calculated my cals in a while. I'll do that right now as I'm curious as well...

    Starting Week 2- Day 8
I got my training done fairly early this morning. I worked out right after breakfast and was done around 11am. Highlights of the workout...

    1. Bench went up 5lbs
    2. SLDL went up 10lbs
    3. Large increase in cardio endurance

I will be increasing my cardio intensity tomorrow for my cardio day since today was a breeze. I felt great on the treadmill doing my normal pace, and will bump it up tomorrow.

I got in about 50g of carbohydrates post-workout from those steel cut oats I bought. I will be watching my waistline since I added some carbs to my diet. If there is any increase in my waist size without noticeable LBM increase, I will back down my carbs again.

Where are the epic Irish Weekends updates? or have you clamped down on the Pub'athons.

hey, you should seriously consider that online BB contest here. You've got all the electronical tools and you should be making steady improvements for what, 8 weeks straight?

I've definitely clamped down. I haven't drank for over a week, and don't plan on drinking until the concert I'm going to on Sept. 23rd. I'm feeling good just being healthy and really focusing on my bodybuilding goals. The 23rd will be just after I finish AE, and I will start Blue Gene up probably the day after the concert.

Could you guys give me the link to the BB contest thread and where to sign up? I looked for it and can't find it. I must be blind.

    Calorie Calculations

My total diet consists of 3,139cals/day on Mon-Fri. That doesn't include my carb-ups on the weekend. I haven't broken that down in terms of Protein/Carbohydrates/Fat quite yet. I have to calculate a little more. Keep in mind I'm doing cardio 5x a week as well, with two of those days being an hour long.

Broke down my caloric intake. After taking out the dietary fiber, I'm getting in about 500cals less than my previous calculation...

    Protein- 333g
Carbs- 151g (That's after I take out dietary fiber)
    Fat- 63.4g

wow, nice. Yeah a lot of my carb intake is dietary fiber as well. I try to average around 2700 right now....but it's probably been off. I haven't used a "fitday" or anything like that in months.

    Day 9

Today was a cardio day. I stepped up my intensity level on both the stairmill and treadmill. It was a hard workout and was completely soaked with sweat just 20mins in. Did my normal 1hr long session. I forgot my MP3 player so I pretty much just zoned out and steamrolled through it. I'll do the same intensity on Thursday, and will hopefully be able to bump it up again next week.

I've got a real busy day ahead of me, so I probably won't be back on here until sometime after 10pm. Have a good one, guys.

60 min without the mp3 deserves some serious props. I used to do 60 min cardio sessions, but if I forgot my mp3, I drove home to get it.

Low-rep squats today along with some other heavy exercises. I don't expect my squat to go up from last week since it jumped up a lot anyways, and on top of that I did hi-rep squats on Friday. Hopefully I will be proven wrong, though. I'd really like to get back to squatting what I used to. Especially now that I weigh so much less. That would be awesome. Updates later.

Hopefully you didn't have too much fun with your ladyfriend last night. I hear that's bad for leg workouts

    Haha. Nah.

    Day 10

As I suspected, nothing too impressive today. When I work a muscle group twice the week prior, there is usually a lapse in my workouts the following week in which I'm either lifting the same weight, or weaker. Today, I was squatting 365x3 (last week was 365x4), but I felt like I was able to get an extra rep but without a spotter I didn't feel comfortable. So, I bumped the weight up 5lbs and did 370x3 instead.

My lift DID increase on DB Shoulder press. So I was happy about that.

Cardio endurance was up again. That means I will bump up intensity on my cardio day tomorrow; sooner than I thought I would be able to.

My buddy has access to some very cheap "powders" and I'm tempted by his offer. I think I am going to tell him I'll pass though. Everything is going so well, I see no reason to mess with it.

    Day 11

Did cardio today and nearly killed myself. I really stepped up intensity on the stairmill and treadmill. I was so happy when those 50mins were over and I could do a 10min cooldown on the bike. Everything went well. I pretty much had a puddle around me the entire workout.

    Playing on the MP3:
    Modest Mouse
    Rolling Stones

Checked my weight this morning on my scale. I was 162.5, and that scale is about 4lbs under, so I'm probably more like 166.

Decided to play Event 1 of the WCOOP tomorrow. It's a $215 6-max NLH event with a $1mil guranteed pool. First should payout around $200k+.

Do it! I'm loving it. I mean, I hate it, but love it. I feel so much better when I get a solid cardio session in. It seems to have only helped my lifting. I don't see any negatives from doing cardio.

Yes. Probably two bottles, though. Since I dose high I'd want to run it longer next time for better results. Stacking it with some other test boosting products would be awesome.

I usually feel a boost in my lifting when I cardio hard too. Better nutrient partitioning, better circulation and oxygenation, endurance, stamina, recovery time from set to set goes through the roof, and the endorphines after a 50-60min cardio is so friggin satisfying. I know, i know....

I have to pick up more Cardio and Yoga, I don't think there are enough hours in the day to do as much as I want to.

5 caps. One with each whole meal.

To answer your other question, I won't be buying another bottle of AE because I am logging Blue Gene after this log to compare the two products.
