Interested in using GH to treat degenerating Cartilage

So I have lymes disease. Doctor wants me to get a knee replacement for the cartilage in my right knee problem is he agree that due to the lymes disease the problem is probably happening throughout my body. I'd rather treat the problem internally but I'm reading that a lot of guys can't seem to get a script for it. I found a clinic that I can buy from but they are charging 50 bucks per IU and saying I need 1.5 IU a day. that's expensive. So I'm wondering what sort of grey area options do I have that are cheaper?

The catch is it can't be in any way illegal because of my job.
