the right answer would have been, james, monounsaturated fats/saturated fats (these in moderation, of course), as they help to faciliatate testosterone production. foods rich in this are olive oils, lean red meats, among nuts-almonds, and milkfats to name a few. yes, i even eat these things when trying to lose weight. there ya go, guru. hope that helped.

| Registered User | lec=l-leucine x-factor a supplement(not a food true),palm oil for it's ucp upregulateing properties,x-factor=red meat,( anabolic fat )if you demand food sources only.olive oil and palm oil for cutting.avocados are great for bulking because they have both fat and carbs(terrible for cutting)also very calorie dense. |

| Savior of the Universe. | Yo guru, not to go off on a complete tangent but I had a thought earlier today and I figure I'd ask it here. Generally the body can only absorb somewhere between 30 and 50 grams of protien per meal. How many grams of carbs and fat can the body absorb per meal? Anyone can jump on this one too if you want. I'm just curious is all. -I know your words, just not together. Member: Blitzkrieg Ninja Brigade - Do you want karate? | Registered User | The body needs ALL the amino acids to build muscle, not just (3) BCAAs. Leucine seems to have science to back up its abilities to stop catabolism, but you aren't going to be building muscle off of mega-dosing leucine. Why you would pay for just one exclusively when you can get all of them in an EAA powder is beyond me. However I find it more beneficial for your overall health to just take EAA instead of BCAAs. |

It's just likely that the EAA's other than the 3 BCAA's are already in the diet in sufficient amounts to build muscle than are the actual BCAA's which are used most. Now, enough of our opinions, let's get back to the Guru's!
