I voted for Muscular Development because it's one of the magazines on the market with less bull**** then everyone else. The Staff at MD is a great bunch of people. I talk with a few of them frequently and they are really going places. Their new digital magazine is even better imo. MD has a nice variety in their mag including science articles, training articles, gossip articles and of course Valentino's Rant which is always a must read. Sure they have their fair share of advertisements in the mag, but that's what pays the bills.

men's health, I prefer the balance they offer. Good articles with scientific basis that concentrate on overall health. Learning how to do 101 different bicep concetration workouts doesn't appeal to me, and they seem to have less of that stuff than the other mags.

I voted for Muscular Development because it has the most scientic information of any bodybuilding magazine. Sure others have information about supplements, etc... but MD goes far beyond the others. There are up to date articles on drugs, supplements, diet, sex etc... There are also sections in the back where pro's answer the average joes' questions every month. There is full contest coverage, and even a femme physique section. Last but not least, The Ramblin Freak is always a good read :) By far the best mag to read, and the biggest and most informative of them all!

I voted for Mens Health because it is not filled to the gills with muscletech ads and the likes. It is just more down to earth to me and i dont feel so small when i read it, haha. I also like that there are more than just bodybuilding articles. There are articles on life and other health related topics. If i had to pic one of the others it would be which ever one had the hottest girls when i flip through it,.... they just all seem the same to me month after month.

I voted for men's health because it offers a lot a variety. Also Mens health doesn't have a lot of ads. They publish interesting articles on realisitic weight loss and realistic muscle building. The recipes are very good and healthy. Its always nice to read the motivating stories as well. Also, the advice section is pretty entertaining.

I voted for Men's Health because I find it to be the only magazine dedicated towards actual male muscular health. When I go looking into these magazines, I hope to read on interesting ideology on health, such as new diet ideas, recipes, macro split concepts, and overall health ideas. I do not want to run into silly workout routines, said to be the secret new workout done by elite bodybuilders. If I want real feedback on routines, I'd come online to such a place like here, or would search online for places like crossfit.com. The magazines filled with such ineffective routines are also always filled with way too many supplement advertisements. Again, if I want to read up on the new supplements, I'd come here for real feedback instead of some flashy overhyping advertisement. Mens Health actually gives you real ways to change your lifestyle and get healthy.

I voted for Mens Health because it is the only one I am very familiar with. To be honest, I haven't read many of the magazines listed there. I mostly read the Economist or news magazines, and tend to get alot of my reading done online from various websites/good authors. After readings these posts though, I'm going to get looking for a few copies of MD. I might find something interesting in there, but I lose so much time distracted reading fitness articles when I should be studying that I probably won't buy MD otherwise I'll always just turn to it lol.

I voted for Flex because I have read them all and believe this to be the most down to the T about bodybuilding in generel. Muscle and Fitness is a little too much like Men's Health sometimes which (Men's Health) has nothing to do with bodybuilding, but rather a "man's" life in general which most of the stuff I don't agree with. Flex has a good combination of ads (not too overwhelming) and training/nutrition advice. Love the fact that I get motivation from the Pro bodybuilding pics and key pointers that seem to be new each month. MD on the other hand is not bad, just that half the mag seems to be ads. Flex gets my vote, I get a good combination of what I am looking for.

I chose Men's Health because it's a magazine I can relate to. It's not flooded with advertisements for muscletech's latest supps that are "going to make me HYOOGE!!!!!" It has a wide variety of good information, including diet tips, new and interesting exercises, and quirky columns. They seem pretty down to earth, and like they can relate to the everyday guy, not some "extreme" demographic like most magazines pander to.

Thanks USP, and MH

I voted for Men's Health just because reading the bodybuilding specific magazines leads me to believe that they interest in making their readers better. They often have pro workouts which would leave anyone who isn't 'on' broken down and over trained. The amount of time they spend touting supplements was why the guy on the cover looks like he does is borderline criminal. Men's Health at least presents the reader with achievable goals, healthy solutions, and doesn't fill in every blank space with another add featuring a pro bber saying he got big and ripped off of caffiene and white willow back extract.

I don't buy too many mags honestly, but they put muscle and fitness RIGHT in the checkout lane at walmart. Every now and again something will catch my eye as i wait in line and I'll grab an issues of that.

I voted for other because People is my favorite magazine. I love to see hot movie stars and singers in their bikinis or low cut dresses. I like to read about who is going into rehab & who is coming out of rehab. I also think the weighty issues that the magazine addresses are important to American culture in general. Finally I conclude with hot movie stars in bikinis.

Muscular Development:

Although it is heavy on useless, ghost written training pieces, it is also heavy on scientific updates. Almost the entire first third of the magazine is usually devoted to explaining various new findings and how they pertain to health, supplements, training, sex, etc. I also appreciate the cartoons very much :D. Magazine's like Men's health/Fitness get annoying with their lack of objective info and there's too many pages dedicated to idiotic "get laid now" "cool cars" "best clothes" articles (and other gimmicky ****). I can put up with the ludicrous pictures and supp ads in MD because it does supply a very decent amount of raw info. They just need to drop that "ramblin freak" moron. What the hell kind of article is written in all caps with no sense of punctuation? I get that for free on these damn forums ;).

But I guess it depends on your market. :)

I voted for Muscular Development. I enjoy all the scientific studies they put in throught the magizene. Some of them cover stuff that most would already know but it's reasurring that there's more science to back it. They also give a wide varity of diet and training looks. Now sometimes the ad's can be a pain because there are alot of them but at times I find it helpful when chooseing supps. They usually give some study backing the supp which sometimes can be found, other times not. Either way they can give a nice over view of the entire product.

A close 2nd was Fitness RX but for some reason they're not very easy to find in my region

Barely Legal is my favorite publication because since Chris Hansen started all this nonsense internet chatrooms are no longer safe for us perverts and I have to get my kicks the old fashioned way, paper porn:icon_lol:
Just kidding, I like Muscular Development because it is absolutely massive and I like the variety of articles that the magazine offers. I despise "The Ramblin Freak" but other that the magazine is pretty solid. Lots of good training, diet and supplement advice. All the sections are written by some of the top people in the industry and pro sections are pretty decent as well. PA, ANssi, Palumbo, Charles Glass, however you spell the guys name from Molecular Nutrition, all the top guys are writing for MD. Good nutrition advice, good training advice, and unlike the other rags that pretend that steroids do not exist in bodybuilding, MD devotes a god section of their mag to articles about steroids and I even though I do not use them personally, I like the honesty.

Not cool man, you just copied and pasted what I posted earlier. Show some respect towards USPLabs and give them what they asked for... *your* opinion in trade for a chance for a free bottle of supplements. You may just be agreeing with my opinion on Men's Health magazine, but at least put it in your own words to show the effort. This shouldn't cut it for the lottery contest.

I voted for Men's Health because I love the magazine. Its not crammed full of Cell Tech ads. But it has a nice over all appeal to living a healthy lifestyle, not just becoming a body builder. It has articles about all sorts of things, women, vacations, healthy foods, recipes and various exersizes. It also has premade work outs to reach goals, for example they had one for traithlons, leaning out, losing weight and bulking up. And possibly one of my favorite parts of the magazine is the very last page which is full of random facts and statistics about a topic.

I voted for Flex because of the contents of the magazine. I really like the fact that Flex has included more powerlifting articles. The most recent PL article was done on Westside Barbell. I believe the Westside article was great and it also gave a breakdown on the westside split, which will help some newbies. The more press PL'ing gets the bigger the sport will become. Keep up the good work Flex.

Muscular Development has some of the most informative articles I've read in a while. Obviously I may be a bit biased because Sebastian has some stuff published in their, but I was just skimming through it today and didn't feel like I was getting ads every other page. The table of contents let's you know exactly where each article is, and the thickness of the magazine is definitely icing on the cake. There is too many thin magazines that are 80% ads of juiced up models and ineffective products. Muscular Development, most definitely has my vote for one of the top magazines being published out there right now.

i picked Muscle and Fitness because i enjoy reading that magazine. It has a decent ratio of ads to articles. It also has the best interviews with the pro's and has the most appeal to gym goers. When i go to the gym to do cardio and am looking for a magazine to read, i also look for Muscle and Fitness first. THen the other magazines. It is my favorite and has helped me advance in my training and knowledge of the sport and lifestyle. It has some amazing photos as well, that just make me drop my jaw. That is why i picked Muscle and Fitness.

I voted for Muscular Development because they tend to have the most articles involving research and development of steroids, igf, gh and other commonly used bodybuilding paraphernalia. The authors generally have a decent sense of humor which adds some entertainment to it. I also like the fact that they have whole sections dedicated to certain things such as: fatloss, supplements, nutrition, supplements and etc. The ads are a bit much but I don't mind it as long as there is enough substance in between them. Oh yeah I do however miss the plethora of beutiful women they used to cram the pages with :)

I voted for Muscle and Fitness because I enjoy reading it the most out of other magazines. Its funny because if you read Men's Fitness and then read Muscle and Fitness, they usually give you complete opposite work out tips. I also notice slightly less roided up guys ini M&F. It's cheap to, so I subscribed. Pick me for Pslin!!

I voted other. My choice is "Muscle+Fitness HERS". I'm not a women, but I read alot of these magazines and it provides as much information, for less cost and way less advertising. And most interestingly, it provides information you don't find in the other ones (I often find them redundant).

That being said, MF in general does run quite a bit of questionable information, with not nearly enough scientific backing, but most of them are like that.

I voted for men's health because it covers all of the angles of a man's life. From sex tips (These are very usefull and are a delight to read) to cooking and recipes, Men's health has it all. I also like the diversity they have in their articles for example, they don't just talk about testosterone like some mags do. I also like it when they test new gadgets that come out and evaluate them so we guys can spend wisely (Not that it's the case for me...). There are also tons of new studies about tons of foods/supplements. There are also articles with clothing and style. I like these because it keeps me updated about the new trends and so on.

I voted for Muscular Development because they are the best. What makes them the best? They cover everything, like contests, and have many different articles to cover all bases. Plus they have the first part of the mag which has the quick few paragraphs so they can be read quickly. Also, they dont saturate the mag with ads.

I voted for Muscle and Fitness HER. I know I already posted this but I just compared an issue of MF HER and a regular MF.

There are 272 pages in MF
157 are advertisments
27 have no information on them (they are just pictures or title pages)

that leaves 88 pages with information (32%)

There are 96 pages in MF HER
29 are advertisements
9 have no information

that leaves 58 pages with information (60%)

MF HER is about half the price.

There are alot of intangibles as well. There is much more information on each page in MF HER, better recipes (much more diverse aswell, as they cater to different fitness goals, and vegitarians) and it is far less repetetive than other mags like MF or Flex (partly because it is fairly new). And something my girlfriend really likes about it is that it is very clear in it's instruction, but doesn't talk done to its reader like a lot of women's magazines.

I'm a personal trainer as well, and quite frankly most of the programs in MF HER are more useful to the average person. Following a Mr Universe contestant's programs is just going to result in overtraining for most people.
