Stupid Upset Picks- The continuing thread

I'm just highly suspicious that an Evangel QB can win a national title. Color me a skeptic.

I don't know about that. I saw Booty vs. West Monroe, LA (the previous year's #1 HS team) back when he was a junior @ Evangel. The Independence Bowl was full (40,000 or so) and he seemed in command the whole evening.
Don't get me wrong....I'm not a fan of his, but he seemed to be the real deal. His performance vs. Arkansas earlier this year was impressive, as well. Any time I've seen him live I've walked away impressed. I do, however, doubt USC's recent performances.

CJ Leak is also know on the Gators coaching stuff from what I've head, I know he was at one point but i'm not 100% sure he is still there. Apparently he is a big help in game planning for the UT games.

To the crazy Miami fan (haha) I just can't see lloyd carr winning a big game untill i see it first, i dont see them beating osu.

good call on colorado jmh80. i was gonna throw huge til you picked the upset. i lost anyways taking iowa -10 for the first half i almost hit a 6 game parlay pitt, syracuse, texas (1st half), ohio state, wake forest, and boise state. BSU couldnt cover a 26 point spread against new mexico state though. damn, would have been a 600 bones for a $20 bet.

i love texas -6.5 over nebraska. i already capped the limit of my sportsbook on this one ($500). ill also take washington +23 to cal, tcu -10.5 to army, wisconsin over purdue, and ill agree on the georgia tech spread. i almost bet on oklahoma but remembered Peterson is out. that spread has already changed 2 points in OU's favor so everyone thinks theyll cover. i may give boise state a 2nd chance over idaho. how do you guys feel taking indiana +31.5? im an OSU fan so i refuse to bet the other way but i really dont think that will happen. indiana has a new passion to play for their coach who is suffering from brain damage or cancer (cant remember which). with their momentum coming off 2 wins, i see OSU winning by no more than 21.

I know that Pitt is a favorite, but I expect the Scarlet Knights to handle them with their Rice/Leonard combo. Just like I expect GT to beat Clemson. But that goes to show how the spread is just that, for betting purposes. And Ainge is amazing this year, I dont think Bama has a good shot at the upset. UTenn has impressed me all year.
