Update: 9th HST 2 x’s . Gym was crowded Tue. Afternoon.
Had an awesome workout. Strength is still climbing. Finish in 2.25hrs..

Energy level was good. (Pre was 2 scoops of Radiate w/ Stryker BCAA’s and 1 scoop of PEAK O2)

Cardio: Wife cardio (This dam Radiate makes we last like a porn star)

Weight 196.7
Cals 1621 This doesn’t happen very often. Just wasn’t that hungry yesterday so I ride it when it happens.
Carbs 101g
Fat 49g
Protein 175g lower than I prefer.
Do you find you have better cardio in the gym? Like for weights While using radiate?

Most defiantly. I don't do much cardio but when I do I can tell the difference when I use radiate and when I don't.
Mix in a scoop of Peak O2 and you are good to go.

Update: 10th & 11th. HST 2 x’s .
Friday’s workout was top notch, Strength was great after missing for 4 days. 1.75hrs.

Sunday’s workout started out great and I started to fizz out about half way through. I did get through it but it took 2.5 hrs. (Went to the gym right after church on 2 scoops of off the chain on an empty stomach, but the lack of cals. hit me hard).

This week should be a little slower and be able to hit the gym.

Cardio: Wife cardio (Sunday) and a few off days.

Weight 196.9 (Sunday) Cals are for Friday. Forgot to track on Sat. and Sunday.

Carbs 48
Fat 124

doing great! work has been crazy and of course School ball for my daughter. they scrimmaged am & pm Mon. - Thur last week.
I should be able to hit the gym a little more now.

All good here too, thanks ! My daughters field hockey is about to hit full swing here soon soo hopefully ill be able to maintain some sort of consistent schedule in the gym.

Silly question - how do you guys keep up energy for 2 hr workouts.....do you usually do a big carb up pre...or what? I know if I go full maniac in the gym, I got about 45min or so in the tank....

Cup of oatmeal W/ 2 Tablespoons of local honey 1-2 hrs before. stim pre workout w/ scoop of Peak O2, and I sip on a scoop of BCAA w/ scoop of Peak O2.
also I workout in the evening and have already had 2 meals and 1 snack.
this is why I peter out early if I try to do Noon or morning workouts this long. My HST workout just takes along time because I cant do the good old compound lifts any longer.

In the winter when I change to a A/B split it takes about 1.25 hrs.w/out cardio.

It just depends on what you are doing and nobody is going full maniac for 2 hour workouts. That's the key when you are working for more volume you simply MUST lower the intensity. Now the intensity feels plenty high for these even when moderating it, but it all comes down to rest periods and how much upper end intensity. Say you are working at an RPE8 you can get a lot more sets in a workout than if you do allof them at an RPE9 because the RPE9 takes a lot more out of the CNS. If you are doing a lot of grinding reps you are going to lose juice a lot more quickly. Also some people just do better with higher volume work. Has to do with muscle type, training age, type of training they have been doing lately and the like.

If you really want to improve your work capacity give GVT a full run and then you will more than likely end up creating a lot more mitochondria in the muscle cell to fuel those longer workouts.

One of the other ways that you can power through like in this instance is that you are not exhausting any of the muscles you are working in one workout. It is full body and you just lightly tax each part, just a bit more than the others. The way that HST increases weight systematically ends up looking a lot like this throughout the 6 weeks.

Workout 1-6 of 15s RPE - 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5
Workout 7-12 of 10s RPE - 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5
Workout 13-18 of 5s RPE - 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5

So you should only be getting close to failure on the final workout for each rep range. Then typically the weight will stay the same or go up a tiny bit going into the next rep range, and then you work your way up the RPE's again. Of course it tends to use percentages or jumps in weights but the easiest and most truncated way to explain was with an RPE example.

Anyway point in case being that for this being the 11th workout he was just getting into the heavier weights for the 10 rep range. So none of the sets should have approached failure. Plus as I said the fatigue is spread through out the body, it isn't like he did the same amount of sets for just the push or pull group. So the muscle themselves are less fatigued than say a 30 set workout for just chest and triceps or something.

Hopefully that makes sense, if not at least I kind of simplified the premise of HST via RPE instead of having to draw a diagram. :fing02::fing02::fing02:

Funny thing is, I've been working with higher reps lately, but today I decided to do a modified old school HIT chest session - 4 exercises/ 4 worrk sets - awesome pump and sore as heck!

Monday 2.0 hrs. not bad.
Gym was packed. Typical Monday (you know all the people you see every 3 weeks or so that this is the day they are going to stick with it) Energy was good! Strength is back on track! All lifts up in weight.

Cardio: Changed a flat tire on the wife’s explorer. Came out of the gym and it was flat. Wife took the car in this morning and the sidewall had a puncture. I think I might know who might have done it. Some dick that I asked if the squat rack is now a texting rack? “Let me know when your done I need to make a few text when you are done”. Should have seen the look on his face! It’s almost worth the price of a new tire and getting to take him outside when I see him again. Just to talk of course.

Really enjoyed this stack.
Took all about 1hr. before eating most days.
Deisel Test: 2am- 2 noon - 1 @8pm
Raw Test: 1am - 2 noon
E2-X: 1am - 1 @8PM (Still have some left) that I will finish.

I drop a few lbs. strength went up on a semi clean diet! my usual. This stuff kicked in within a week. really good for natty. Libido was really good!
I did buy a few more bottles of RAW TEST, I think this stuff really helps the Libido. I do have a Bottle Of DTP3 in the stash that I will stack with the RAW test I have.
