First off I'd like to thank WANTED for the opportunity to test this product.. It has been months since I last tried a pre-workout in a pill form, and cant wait to see what kind of pumps i get with this one.
Current Stack
Psyched - 3 capsules
Monster- (dont judge, i had nothing else at the time.. left all my stash in hawaii)
Modern BCAA - intra workout
So on the way to the gym, i popped 3 capsules of the psyched since i have a high tolerance fort this kind of stuff, i chugged down my zero calorie, zero sugar monster and waited to see what happens.. SInce I was just signing up to my new home gym, Eos Fitness, i had to go through the whole process of the tour and paperwork that comes with it. a little before we were finished which was just about a half hour or so, i started to fell urge to want to throw something. without hesitation, as soon as she gave me my gym card, i grabbed it headed straight to the weights.. haha..
Warm up Set
Inclince Hammer Strength Press
2 plates each side- 30 reps
3 plates each side- 20 reps
4 plates each side- 15 reps
5 plates each side- 8 reps
2 plates each side- 30 reps
Now this is a typical warm up for me.. I have issues with my elbow, and this movement has always helped me pump some blood into my arms, shoulders, and chest. it may be heavy weights, but its a staple for me.
Inclince Barbell Press
135 lbs- 20 reps
225 lbs- 15 reps
315 lbs-10 reps
405 lbs- 6 reps
225-lbs 10 reps
These were all done without a spotter. i sometimes hate having someone touching the bar when i dont ask them to, and if i dont need the spot, i dont ask.. hahahaha.. honestly just for today, i wanted to try this on my own, so i didnt ask for help, but i normally do have someone help out.. im getting brittle and we could all use the assistance.
Dumbbell Bench Press
105 lbs- 12 reps
115 lbs- 8 reps
125 lbs- 6 reps
135 lbs- 4 reps
105 lbs- 10 reps.
I got to be honest that, my elbow was feeling it during this movement.. just before I hit a 90 degree angle on, i feel a sharp pain in my elbow as if someone is stabbing me with a needle., i was gonna run the rack like i normally do, but i had to throw in the towel.
Bodyweight Dips
4 sets- 30 reps
For someone my size, I normally struggle with this since i normally do decline presses just before, but today, no presses, just the dips.. felt great to actually bang out that many reps, let alone sets.. felt really good..
Machine Flyes
210lbs- 4 sets of 15
I love this machine. with my dang elbow problem, i use dumbbells every other week, but this machine is great for slow reps and a longer squeeze on the chesticles..
Seated Calf Raises
just before my ending cardio, i always do a few sets of these and the weight usually varies.. today i used 4 plates for 4 sets of 15.. in 2008, i tore my gastronemius muscle in my calf, and luckily for me, i can still do this,.
Ending Cardio -
20 minutes on the Bike..(i was too tired to do anything else)
No PR was broken today, but for my first workout on Psyched, i did pretty well i would say. The pump lasted the entire time i was training, and could see some veins which i normally dont because of my thick polynesian skin.. I did not feel any crash what so ever, and even when I got home, i could still do my normal pushups before bed. haha. over all, i liked this first day, and I cant wait to see what I could do stacking this with a pre workout powder.. imagine the sick pumps youll get with it....
