I am starting my 3rd week of a cycle due for my 5 pin today. Have been switching between my right and left glutes. This way each glute was only pinned once a week. So today I'm due for my left side however starting Saturday night I got slight some soreness on my left side and now I have a red spot that's slightly warm to the touch. Pretty sure I should check in with the doc to make sure I don't have an infection but just seeing if anyone else has experiences this. And yes I have been very clean every time. Different pins to draw and inject, fresh pins and syringe every time, separate alcohol swabs for the vials and injection site. Just looking for ideas.
Edit: Looking closer I can see two small bruises where I have stick the needle in for each pin. No fever or other symptoms. Maybe just super delayed PIP?
