Opinions on seated snatches?

Are seated snatches any good in terms of just general conditioning or cardio or just getting some blood flow going while working at the office? I know it takes legs out of the equation and you have to use your lower back for the drive up (is that bad?) but is it an exercise worth doing or will it lead to injury?
