^ Kudos! I get tired of multiplying 2.204 lol
Yeah :D

I've been on these boards for so long that it effects on my thinking... Some people in Finland are shooting for 150kg bench press, 200kg squat and 250kg deadlift, but my goals are in pounds... I'm shooting for 300lbs bench press, 450lbs squat and 600lbs deadlift :D

Day 11

Training session:

- Squat

4x155lbs
4x185lbs
3x220lbs
2 sets of 3 @ 260lbs
3x295lbs
2 sets of 2 @ 315lbs
2x320lbs
2x330lbs (personal best!)

- Paused leg press

5x220lbs
5 sets of 5 @ 310lbs

- Good mornings

5 sets of 5, went up to 165lbs

Nice and easy once again. Back pump was painful after squats - I really gotta lower the dose if Nitroceps before squats and deadlifts, lol! I had to lay 10 minutes on the floor before going to the leg press because of back pump...

My arms are hurting again... I'll call the doctor tomorrow. It would be nice to find out whether something is broken or if they are just overstressed (or how ever you say it in English).

By the way, I gave one dose (4 caps) of Nitroceps to my friend yesterday. He is a competitive natural bodybuilder and he trained arms... He is currently cutting and he said that pump was great - I think he'll buy few bottles of it.

Rest tomorrow and heavy-ass-deadlifts on Wednesday! Stay tuned!

Day 13

Morning weight: 178.6lbs

Training session:

- Deadlift without belt:

2x155lbs
2x200lbs
2x245lbs
2x290lbs
2x330lbs
2x375lbs
1x400lbs
1x440lbs
3x485lbs (personal best!)

- DB lunges

5 sets of 5 @ 25's, no rest between sets (only switching to other leg)

Decent workout. Didn't get as many reps at DL as I was hoping for but still good personal best. Pump was intense in my glutes and quads after DB lunges!

I don't think lunges as an exercise - for me they are a way to speed up recovery and get some blood flowing. I do only light sets of them. I don't have energy to actually train after one heavy set of deads :D

Squats tomorrow morning - I'll try my brand new knee wraps and belt! If I can wake up early enough, lol... I'm planning to hit the gym 9AM and I normally train at 2PM.

I still have those samples of MST's Agmatine, CRE-02, MVP (multivitamin) and Cordygen. I will probably take that Agmatine on top of my regular dose of Nitroceps when I can hit my arms again!

9AM is early? lol
It is for me! My work (I work as artistic gymnastics coach for 4-19 years old kids) starts at 4PM and my school starts usually between 11AM and 2PM so it'll be rough to wake up at 8 - especially because we have only 3 nights together with my girlfriend until she goes to Turkey for four months so there won't be much time to sleep tonight, lol :D

Extra rest day today. I didn't have time to hit the gym in the morning and right now I'm in train going to my see my parents-in-law.

I'll squat tomorrow and rest again on Sunday and maybe on Monday too if I feel like it. Following high carb diet will be close to impossible this weekend so I may just eat on Monday and train on Tuesday - I feel more confident in the gym when I know that I've nailed it in the kitchen!

Today I was so busy in the morning that I ate my breakfast 3 hours after waking up - two big macs, lol... Losing my gains right now!

I would squat without them but our powerlifting federation allows using them in raw meets so I though why not. Felt much better than without them - not because of knees but they helped me to not squat too deep and to keep my core more stable somehow!

3x330lbs set was easier with wraps than 3x295lbs without straps, lol...

Day 18

- Cable pullover
8x25lbs
8x40lbs
8x50lbs
8x60lbs
8x70lbs
8x80lbs -> drop to 50lbs

- DB rear lateral raises
2 sets, drop and rest-pauses in the last set

- Seated DB side lateral raises
2 sets to failure

- Seated calves
3 sets, drops in the last one

Pretty boring workout as I didn't do anything that involves my biceps in any ways. Pump was still excellent and those pull-overs really burned my lats! It seems that no matter what I do, I can still make my lats hurt!

Skwats tomorrow, longer sets this time. Can't wait... :puke:

Day 19

- Squat
5x155lbs
5x185lbs
2 sets of 5 @ 220lbs
5 sets of 5 @ 260lbs
Knee wraps
5x290lbs
5x310lbs
5x330lbs
5x355lbs (personal best!)

- Good morning
5 sets of 5, went up to 180lbs

Friggin' awesome. I can tell you that my legs are growing! No vids, the gym was way too crowded... Next week I'll do heavy sets of 2!

Pump and endurance were great, didn't need to rest much between sets!

I'm happy! It took 3 hours for me because my coach and my few good friends of mine came to the gym right after I had finished my workout so I kept them company

No training today... Donated a pint of blood and got my hemoglobin measured. It was something between 160-170 before donating so pretty high but easily within the normal range.

You're supposed to dead lift within an hour after donating.

Good on you bro. I have been slacking an haven't donated in over a year.

I won't count days anymore as this will be pretty long log - I'm taking Nitroceps only on training days.

Did some speed pulls today:

- Deadlift
3x155lbs
3x200lbs
3x245lbs
2 sets of 2 @ 295lbs
4 sets of 2 @ 345lbs

- DB lunges
5 sets of 5

I was tired! Slept only 3 hours last night and ate very small breakfast before hitting the gym. It was not fun and lower back was way too pumped again! It was actually painful.

Weekend will be busy, I expect ****ty workouts. Days will be long due to me trying to get my licence so that I can work as a security guy...

Not because of today's workout as it was only speed work but Tuesday's squats made me sore!

Next week I'm gonna try how 495lbs feels on deads!

I did a major change of plan now!

I signed up for a national level deadlift contest. It's March 22th.

After talking to my friend I realized that there's no point to do all three lifts on 5th April because of my injured arms... So now I'm trying to peak on March 22th and soon after that meet I'll try squat max.

I'll have to talk to my coach about deadlift meet that is March 8th. I haven't signed up to that meet yet but my original plan was to do it first.. But I'll listen to my coach - if he says that pulling heavy that close to my main contest is a bad idea, then I'll leave it.

- Squat
5x135lbs
5x185lbs
5x220lbs
2 sets of 5 @ 260lbs
5 sets of 4 @ 275lbs

- Bench press, last rep of every set was paused
6x45lbs
6x70lbs
6x90lbs
2 sets of 6 @ 110lbs.. Lol

- Seated good morning
5 sets of 5, 125lbs at heaviest

Light workout. Modified my squat form and belt usage a bit with my coach. Heavy doubles on Tuesday - gonna break my old records.

Didn't dare to use more weight on bench... But it felt good to do at least nothing. If my arms let me do it, I'll add 10-15lbs every week and do 2 sets of 6 (last reps paused)... Shouldn't take many months to work my way back to old weights if my arms doesn't hurt.

Today has been a long day... I was in security training today and slept only two hours last night. I have some stress in my personal life (job, studies, relationship) and that always affects my sleep. Night sweats don't help either.

The way you put work in you'll probably do great in the dead lift meet. Hopefully your arms can heal up for you too.

Screw night sweats or any interrupted sleep. I hate when that happens.

I will and I'll take vids before that too... I think my gym buddy took one today so maybe I'll get it to YouTube later!

I don't think my arm will heal soon, it ached today too... I'll see physical therapist soon.

However, I trained legs today and it was a blast!

- Squat
5x155lbs
5x185lbs
4x220lbs
2 sets of 3 @ 260lbs
2 sets of 3 @ 295lbs
3 sets of 2 @ 315lbs
knee wraps
2x345lbs
2x365lbs
2x375lbs
2x385lbs
2x400lbs (huge personal best!)

- Paused leg press
5 sets of 5 @ 320lbs

- Good morning
5 sets of 5, went up to 190lbs

The best squat workout ever. No back pump but quads and glutes were pumped even though I did such a short sets. It's crazy how fast I'm gaining strength now. Heavy singles next week!

Thanks! Knee wraps indeed help to keep good form, not only with knees but core is more stabile also. I love them and my powerlifting organization allows them in raw meets.

Massage after workout. We went through future training plans with my coach too... After the meet I'll train 1 week however I want (I'll try max sets with 440lbs just for fun). After that we'll start 13 week program focusing on my weak points... Rehabbing my arms and getting better at the first half of deadlifts. Partial pulls will hopefully help with it.
