Inspired? Certainly. Telling Ageless he got me "hard as hell" like you said? No, that crosses the line of "inspiration" in my book.

Gentlemen...this board, anabolicminds, is a place to learn & share good & bad experiences.

I read and learn on this board more than I post. I find it difficult to express myself on paper. (always careful not to offend)

I think we should be able to take constructive criticism:blink: when we post our pictures.

I for one appreciate all the kind words & respect. And I am very thankful for all the advice and helpful tips from the bodybuilding gurus.

Here I go again..rambling on & on and now.....about my shoulders???

Your posts have motivated me to get out of a rut that I did not realize I had fallen into. Last year you posted an article, "Male Horemones and aging" which for me was a real eye opener.

Could you tell us where we could find the entire article with foot notes?

Congrtats on your condition ageless, very lean. I just wondered your waist is a little thick, is that due to HRT, HGH or training? The reason why I ask is because I may end up taking prescribed HRT so Im busy gathering facts and have enjoyed reading your posts and found them v useful.

You won't get GH gut from HRT. Doses are usually between 1 to 2 IUs per day and are meant to restore levels.

HGH the cause of my wide waist???...no I dont think I can blame HGH for that (LOL)

I guess I could say it was the "lying ass" camera...They do that you know.

Now..the real truth ~ I blame it on over the counter drugs. Actually years of everyday abuse.

I retired 1994 and sat around on my boat...and drank and drank. It took a "cycle" of 6 yrs or so to build that gut. (and lots of Captain Morgan)

In 2000 my waist was still 33 as always, had not changed - the bad news I no longer could see my belt buckle, it was hiding under my large AB...time to go back to work. 3 days a week with a trainer for 3 years helped me get started. Now I love going to the gym.

I seem to go from one extreme to another. I dont lift heavy and I take all the time I need (like 3 hours). My old joints and bones are getting tired. Some mornings I hurt all over. On the Captain Morgan cycle I only had a sore head....go figure.

There I go rambin' on and on.....:run:

First off, Thank you for all the support and concern in the past. I've shared some pics and expressed how I feel about H.R.T.

You all know how I feel, HRT is a must for a better quality of life...not just bodybuilding.

Now I have a question!
I was told a few years back that I have polycythemia vera. Maybe it was inheridated and maybe from exogenious testosterone...who knows.

I just know I make too many red blood cells. I was told by one DR that my cells dont carry enough oxygen - the body compensates by making more.
I check my hematicrit every two weeks, and they draw 500 CC when it reaches 45 (approx every month)

Please speculate...IGF-1L3 even HGH, for that matter and mix that with polycythemia vera.

Isnt polycythemica a type of blood cancer??

Last December I ran a 25 day kit...40 MCG per day...IGF-1L3, now Im asking myself. ("what in the hell have I done")

Hematicrit is UP - Blood pressure is average 155/85
cardio is almost impossible, ten reps of any set and Im huffin & puffin. 5 mins at 2.5 mph on treadmill and my legs are ready to fall off. (just started walking cardio last week)

you know...I dont hear much about older bodybuilders watching their red blood cells. If it gets too high its like pumping mud instead of blood....thats not good.

Here I go again..rambling on and on..better stop for now.

If I've made a mistake to try IGF-1L3, and aggravated my polycythemia vera - just think how many rep points I'm gonna lose now!!!

hey when we going to see new pics ? with your polycythemia ? i know they give new borns albumin to dilute the red bld cells . also u must watch for stroke due to the high red cell count ,some take asprin but u will have to ask dr . most guys are ok with treatment like the removing of 1 unit of bld weekly ,but some can get acute myelogenous leukemia .with any condition using other types of drugs is always not a good idea .

When I put this on "Anabolicminds" I knew the best of the best minds are here to help and advise me. (and tell me I am a dumb ****) LOL

My main concern is all my brothers that do cycles or are on testosterone for the rest of their lives. (it can raise red blood cells)

Last year I was out of town and met a 72 yr old man at the local gym who had just had his blood work done. We talked a while (I love to talk) and he showed me his blood profile. He said his DR liked the numbers for a 72 yr old.

One thing that screamed out at me was his "hematacrit" was "68":jaw:

He called me a month or so later and told me thank you, and that I probably saved his life. (doctors are not all perfect)

We usually catch the big mistakes in life...its those little screw ups that we dont see til its too late that haunt us forever. (IGF-1L3 and polycythemia - what was I thinking  )

Relax my man. The changes brought about by IGF-1L3 aren't going to be permanent. If it is responsible for the higher RBC this shouldn't be sustained...it may take the good part of this year to see the number come down. You'll just have to take all the necessary precautions until than...that's all.

So put your feet up, get your shoulders rubbed and don't be so fucking hard on yourself.

I couldn't respond in the other thread because it got locked, but I'm glad you're using it. I know that this site is simply a parody site and noone is REALLY telling the truth here.... so it's good to see you letting us all know! :)

LOL... my Disclaimer has apparently taken off now, as I have counted at least 6 other people using it :) I hope more people use them so that I know they are merely posting in jest :)

Got up at 9am. 2 IU HGH
9:30 Myoplex shake with milk.
10:30 large bowl of rice crispies with 2 yr old angel
household chores & duties with Mrs Ageless til 12:30pm
Start workout at gym at 1pm- drank a can of Monster energy drink
during workout with lots of water
3:00 MRS brings me a late lunch - 2 chicken strips from KFC.
Finish workout around 4:30 including 20 min cardio
5:00 protein shake with milk
7:30 steak, rice, fried okra, corn & snow peas. with 2 large glasses of OJ.
after dinner 2 serving spoons of virgin olive oil. YUCK
Now Im on computer - probablly take 2 more spoonfulls of olive oil before bed -
it helps with acid reflux at night.
I know this sounds like a joke - maybe at my age I dont need all the protien.
I felt great all day.

My God I am ashamed of my eating habits. I wish I could say I use everything sponsors have to offer...but Im sad to say I dont. I know my honesty will cost me a ****load of Rep points, and I will catch holy hell from all you pro's.
All I will say is I will try hard to get back on track with a better plan.

Here I was thinking "Hmmm Ageless must follow a pretty strict diet to be that lean. I wonder...Zone, UD2, Carb-cycle...I wonder which one it is?"

Now I find out..grrrrr. LOL

I promise myself I will do better - I wish I could do more about this old face. LOL

Oh well.I should be thankful that I still have some of my hair and my own teeth!!

If I dont run out of time!
Why don't you get that gray out of your hair and have some botox and New-fill injections? If you did these things you could look 40.

Ageless, you have to go and show off don't ya? Someone please tell WWE Ric Flair has a swole twin! Whooo!!!! No for real keep up the good work, and i hope i can look that good at 30.
That ****'s funny! Seriously, Ageless is the MAN...I may have to show your photo to the out of shape 20 somethings( and they are legion)in my neighborhood since I look better than them at 40, and you look better than me at 60:good job, sir! I am considering having all the tests though..here's why. I have had some of the symtoms, and yes I used ph's a few times..not recently. I had a few issues with libido etc about 4 years ago and got a blood test, the only thing shared with me was the level of test..930ngdl, and this was at least 8 months after my ph use. WOW, really good I thought, but they did'nt disclose any other factors to me if they even knew what to look for. Bottom line I got perscribed viagra, admittedly the girlfriend liked it, but its a patch verus a fix imo. I am hoping I can get full spectrum tests and build from there..and before any one gets froggy, I am doing this for quality of life, not to get AAS. If it can be done without them all the better. According to my friendly military psych, I have PTSD, this was a while ago and I manage ok without any "happy" pills, thank you. I just want to not compound things...thank you for the info ageless and best of luck to all in your endeavors.:woohoo:

Ageless, I just found this thread and WOW it is interesting.

Curious where are your Total and Free T levels at as well as your IGF-1? (before your IGF cycle).
