found this and im sure alot of people were wondering what the differences were - i was.

Ephedrine HCl is approximately 82% ephedrine by weight.
Ephedrine sulfate is approximately 77% ephedrine by weight.
25 mg ephedrine HCl = 20.5 mg ephedrine
25 mg ephedrine sulfate = 19.25 mg ephedrine

no more primatene for me.

bronkaid you get 100% more, and a 5% difference in mg.

exactly. primatene you get 12.5 mg x 60 tablets
bronkaid you get 25mg x 60

theres only a 5% difference by weight between the HCL ( primatene) and the sulfate ) bronkaid ), meaning the primatene is a terrible deal.

i should have put that in the original post. but basically primatene is 10 dollars and change and the bronkaid is 13 and change and you get double the ephedrine . the problem is, people thought that the HCL was so much better than the sulfate that the loss in quantity was worth paying for, for a supposed superior product ( primatene )

this proves that the choice should ALWAYS be bronkaid.

Or u can go to walgreens and buy the genaric brand that they make for 8$ a pop. It's made to mimic Primatene. So it has Ephedrine HCL at a lower cost.

i think both have 25 mg active ingredient. The salt form is usually accounted for in the pill. You can start looking at the bioavailability of each salt form too. I wouldn't get too hung up on this stuff.
