Carpal tunnel surgery, huh? That's a rough one. Hopefully she recovers quickly and Cary isn't stuck washing the dishes for too long!Day 10 as noted had to take the day off due to my wife's carpel tunnel surgery. Even though I did not go to the gym, I did have a workout. She wanted the treadmill moved from the basement upstairs. So I started dragging it up the stairs, got to the top and it will not fit even with taking the basement door off. UGH, so here I go back down the stairs and outside and into the living room.

I got into the free weight room and it was in shambles, weight plates scattered everywhere, dumbbells all over the place, barbells not on the racks. So I spend a good 10 mins cleaning up someone else's mess. I did leave a note for the owner about the mess. So here was my workout, I did not have my notebook to keep track so I'm going off memory.
BB Curls s/s with Hammer Bar curls: 60lb BB and 25s on the hammer curl bar Did 3 sets/10 reps each
Cable Preacher Curls: 45x10 50x10 55x10
Cable V-bar pushdowns: 45x10 55x10 65x10 70x10
Cable Rope tricep kickback: 20x10 25x10 30x10
Assisted Dips: 100x10 90x10

Drives me up the wall. They were on TV infomercials and have been sold everywhere. I have some that I got from one of those deal of the day websites. They are also a little easier on your wrists sine they allow movement.I've seen these before can't remember where.

Have a ebook reader?That was geared towards Cary and the carpal tunnel syndrome but yeah its an interesting perspective. I'm a bookworm - comes with 2hrs of subway travel a day.

I can't do decline at all, its put too much stress on my shoulders, I haven't tried decline db yet, I may try that sometime and see how it does.Solid intensity on the chest workout. Decline press motions have virtually no shoulder stress if you feel to change it up, the smythe can get awkward on an incline.
That's too bad. After I tore my labrum, I was exactly the opposite. I could not do any incline work but decline work was actually tolerable. Either way, it's best to listen to your body and adjust accordingly.
