Well..finally got an apartment..
Now I can control what I'm eating.
And can start getting some solid rest and Recovery..
Back on TRT...man 3 months off..."F".!!
Just the thought of it working..Pumps Me..!!

So..got some things to really deep dive into soon..
I'm 💯 sure in a week I'll be 50% better..eating right, good rest(gummie induced. Lol) and relieving stress...
Then a slow return to the Iron..

The Rub Is...
I'll be back in great shape in a few months..
Do I really want to Battle to the Death with C...???
OR
Live my Life My Way...To the Fullest..!!

I Honestly Don't Know for Once..!!

Thoughts..Ideas..Advice..???

Man I’m happy to hear you got a place of your own and sounds like you are enjoying that! Wish I could offer up some advice but I truly have no clue what it’s like to up against that kind of decision. I will say I’m glad to hear things are on the up and up and see you back posting.

yea man, I really want to tell you to go out on your own terms but sometimes things can change y9our perspective.

you got any odds on beating it? I mean, it might weight my decision if I knew I had a low chance of winning such battles.

on the other hand, the thought of loosing gets some people to rise to a challenge thus getting some benefit from the fight.

Just not sure how I would be looking at it.

After nearly kicking the bucket 5 times in 4 years..I'm squeezing every drop..
If I'm going to die tomorrow, today I want to be in the Gym..
I had one of my very best runs last year..and my first Trest..
Learn a ton.

Odds..
MCL..
3 yrs no Treatment
5 yrs with Treatment
3 to 5% walk away from it totally..

Rare cases beyond 10 years..

I'm 11 yrs no Treatment..
BUT
CLL another C..
Major neck nerve damage..
Internal Bleeding problems (nearly died 4 times in 4 yrs)
TBI..mild..

Body is starting to wear down..needing more rest and really hard to gain weight.
Get extremely weak easily and often..

So..Odds.
Already smashed them..!!
Everyday Stand..!!

both options seem like the same thing to me ;)

If I'm going to die tomorrow, today I want to be in the Gym..
amen buddy.
it's a tough balance. my wife's cancer had us questioning a lot last year. We even toyed with going "all in" on a very very expensive boat... like 6x more expensive than the one we have because "you never know when it ends". Briefly we had that idea in our head, what's the point in saving for 5 or 6 decades for something if you keel over the next day?

But I think for us, what we have found, is that less is more. Instead of going head over heels in debt for a big ass yacht, we're selling our existing boat and focusing on home, travel, each other, etc.

Being in the moment with a smile can be just as much living life to the fullest as is a grand adventure, imo.

I missed this first post. Was half asleep and sipping my first coffee

First off, congratulations on getting your OWN PLACE. That must feel so good to have squared away. Plus the gummie induced sleep never hurts!!! Lol
I think we all want to go out on our own terms. I know I do. Do androgens make your conditions any worse? I am not too familiar w how AAS would work w Mantel Cell.
it’s your life and it’s your call. I think most of us would rather die on our feet than live on our knees

If it were me, as I CANNOT tell you what to do, I would go all in for a week. If you are worrying every night as you lay in bed about what you are doing, aka causing MORE stress and anxiety, then I would stop. If I was as happy as pig in ****..............well I have my answer.

No matter what you choose I support your decision 1000%.

there is an older retired guy at one of my gyms who is competing in PL. I see him there all the time around 11am sessions, I think he spends 3hrs at the gym and trains for 1 because he enjoys being there and BS's with everyone.

To me, he's got it figured out. it would be the same as say, hanging out at the golf club, or meeting the boys at the course every morning in retirement. it's not about going PGA or anything, but just enjoying the moment.

real nice to hear bro you got a place and getting back on track

as for your question .. fight the C with every inch your body and kick it ass until you cant
never give up .. i recently lost my dad 8months ago and used to break my heart when he used to say " i wanna live .."
both of my grandpa's and my dad passed away from C .. and the last one kinda broke me and had to pick myself up bc i cant let mom and lil bro see me all sad and depressed
you might not think u have someone who wants best of u .. but there are pple ..live life and battle till end is my moto is i ever have to deal with it ( sadly runs in our family )
