Looking fuller, but also losing some definition in the midsection. Vascularity is almost unchanged in a negative aspect, and they're coming out in the legs a little more. This would be perfect if I could drop whatever I've put on in the midsection and stay this full...lol can't have the cake and eat it too, quite fitting for the diet situation if I must say. I'm thinking as of now, I will postpone the start of my bulk for a few weeks, maybe back into November. Once I get back, it should take me about 2 weeks to lose what I put on and get my conditioning back. Then I can slowly add in the extra cals/carbs.

Still looking sick brother!
Thanks fellas! FireTitan and hairygrandpa I apologise for not being as active in your threads as of late. Hell, it's taking me a couple days at a time to update my own, and my old training thread is at least a week and a half behind. Once this clears up I'll be back full swing, I get on and monitor progress when I can.
HIT4ME still taking those training principles and applying them each session, they clearly seem to be working! Thanks again brother!
Sparkss I didn't forget about you either, buddy. Keep killing those workouts, and use the work interruptions as an anger fuelled motivator for your sessions lol! Seriously, keep it up man.

I am flattered, but you give me too much credit. You do the hard work and you do it day in and day out. You were doing great before I said anything. I am pleased if I have any idea that helped make a difference. Thank you!

Not gonna lie - and I'm not even really sure how to say this, but I wish I looked like Sparks2012. He's my hero and I'm going to blow up those photos and put them everywhere to remind myself of how far I have to go and how hard I need to work. Ok, maybe I won't really blow up those photos, but I mean the rest of it.

Quads were destroyed after the "Meadows"-esque trap bar squats. Feeling better with the squats, great pump and really finished off the hams with the leg curls. Keeping the quads off the pad acted like a concentration curl of sorts for the hammies due to not having any leverage to push the legs into.

Intensity wasn't as high today, more of an experimentation type of day, especially with the slingshot. I like using it, but I feel I get more out of it if I can use it with the first exercise in a workout. You'd think using it later would allow you to push past normal limits but the fatigue I was feeling didn't let me push past much lol. 21st was a rest day, but we went canoeing for close to 3 hours so that was a "mini workout" that day.

Thanks guys, the supersets have helped let me get more work done in a shorter amount of time, therefore letting me keep intensity higher the entire session. Of course there's those "off" days or days where I'm just in there to have fun and do what I like best lol. I'll be starting PCT this Friday, which will leave with one week of actual PH's left at that point. Wishing it wasn't ending so soon, but I guess you can't have fun forever

Shorter session, I was feeling a little fatigued earlier in the day. After being in pretty much direct sunlight for the better part of 3 hours canoeing yesterday, and doing lawn care for about 4 hours in direct sunlight today (weeding and getting rid of shrubs, thankfully not mowing lol) I just felt kinda spent. That, and my brother did something to his ACL squatting, so he was pretty much done, wasn't gonna keep him waiting in there for another 45 mins. Don't think it's anything major, no sign of a tear (no ruptured blood vessels, no visible swelling, etc.) so hopefully it's just a small strain. So, after the squats the rest of my session was condensed into about 20 mins. Great quad/ham pump going, and veins are still coming out more in the legs. I chuckle every time I try and find new ones as hairygrandpa said vascularity in the legs comes out as you age regardless of if you want it or not

Obviously life hasnt knocked you down or slowed you. Great sessions. I personally love the shrug bar, and read an article not to long ago that said using the shrug bar is probably the BEST way to do squats and deadlifts, and technically theyre done simultaneously.

Thanks brother, I've neglected using it for a while as the good ol' barbell was working fine for me but I can see it having a worthy place in my selection now. From a physiological standpoint, I agree as there's less of a degree of spinal compression than having a bar on your back (purely anecdotal advice here, I have no formal medical training so take it for what you will), and the handles being in a neutral position give you a better leverage point to use your whole trunk more while doing the squat/pull combo. It's like a half-squat pretty much every rep, but that can vary person to person depending on how long their limbs are. I'm general, I feel it could be a safer alternative to BB squats. You could use 25's if you wanted to have to squat lower to initiate the movement too, so it's a very versatile piece of equipment. Hell, I've even seen some people use it to do push press before.

Ha! That's just the fancy lingo I picked up reading BB.com articles, I really have no clue what I'm talking about

If you wanna see impressive, look up realworldtactical on instagram. That dude puts me and everyone else I've met to shame. He's the one I've seen using it for push press. Dude is crazy fit and strong as an ox, plus he's still doing operator as f#%k shooting drills.

Looked his supplements up, what caught my eye was his joint formula. It has Cissus and "ParActin(Bioactive 14-Neo-Andro Compound)"
That's something new to me.... running google right now.

All just depends on body type, I throw it in once in awhile for variety but it feels awkward with my T-Rex arms... Or maybe I just need to stop being a little bitch and get wider so the handles don't feel so far apart lol

Not a lot of exercise selection, but I did a fair amount of sets for everything today. This strength is blowing my mind. Of course, I'm all carbed up and everything so that factors in as well but you can tell when you're actually getting stronger and it's not just a dietary fluke. Surprised with how good of a session I had today, as yesterday's circumstances were less than optimal. I DO NOT condone this or make a habit of it at all, but since it had been years since I'd been home with family we went to the local Oktoberfest. I had about 4-5 beers, pretty moderate amount, but I also had been hanging out with my dad till 4 in the morning (not drinking) the night before and then we left for the fest at like 11. I didn't get to eat anything prior or hydrate at all, not smart as I felt like I going to dry up the rest of the day. Ended getting home at 3 and sleeping till 10, then sleeping from midnight to about 9 this morning. Woke up feeling like I was blitzed by an 18 wheeler. I hated myself for that, but I took all the precautions I could by "preloading" with liver support for a few days prior and filling up with continued doses since then. It wasn't until later this afternoon and what seemed like 80 bottles of water that I was feeling normal again. I know the lack of sleep compounded that feeling, based on past experiences. But hey, we're all human and although I don't like doing what I did, I still had a good time and sometimes you need that more than anything. Hell, it can't be any worse than dudes competing running all kinds of stuff and then getting hammered the night finals took place.

Workouts look good. Glad you got to have a good time with family, that is important. Got to live it up ever so often?. Nothing a good hammering of h2o won't take care of in a few days. These are the things that make memories!

Thanks buddy! And you're damn right, the weight room will always be there but time with loved ones won't. Sometimes it's just a matter of making "you" happy, even if only for a few hours. To be honest I was a little reluctant to add that part in here, but a sponsored log should be honest with all the gritty details and that's a pretty important aspect in all this. Thanks for not chastising me right off the bat!

Oh I did, and a brisket sandwich, and some of the wife's ice cream, and some cinnamon toasted almonds?

Now that sounds like me.
Haha, man I've always been a big eater. I've just managed to control appetite better over time. But being in the U.K. for 3 years and then having all the American food you missed is a recipe for disaster.

I bet... The older I've gotten I've noticed I eat a few more things I shouldn't.
