These are some pretty interesting staple lists. For me:

1) Controlled Labs Vitmore or Vitamin D3 + ZMA
2) Fish Oil
3) EvoMuse Gut Health

Stuff I cycle that I consider staples:
1) Meriva Curcumin
2) KSM-66
3) Alpha Lipoic Acid
4) Rhodiola Extract
Good basics right there: anti-oxidants, adaptogen, prostate & liver support, circulatory & anti-inflammatory support. Gut health promotion - highly underrated.
The_Old_Guy - apple cider vinegar

Wide variety of staple supps in this thread. Mine are pretty basic these days. Multi, creatine, b12, d3, flaxseed oil, and caffeine.

Thinking about adding in some PA, especially since I'm about to start ArA, but that's the only excitement in my line up for this year haha.

I have way to many staples, especially herbs. But aside from that, I use bulk agmatine, humapro, and compete daily. Along with Joint Help, Athletic Multi, and Fish Oil. I go off and on with Out Cold.

Vitamin K has so many benefits
I remember I posted in some K-vit thread about Vicasol/Menadione and now I see it in your favs.. Did you figure out a dosage? It's so different even between MK-4 and MK-7 K2s.. Do you feel from your research it could replace menatetrenone? Since the price difference is really dramatic.. Vicasol is dirt cheap here for 20 or 30 15mg tabs, I took it for GH benefits more, than a decade ago, thinking of getting back to to it after your post..

Staples:

Vitamin D3
Vitamin K3
Vitamin E
Cocoa will now be reappearing as a staple of mine.
Creatine
Focus XT

Thats it as far as daily use supps go.
Real cheap, I can get most of these for <$40 for all for a months supply (just by looking at others staples, the cost alone would throw me off everyday use for long term).

As far as stand out brands to look out for in 2016 - Antaeus labs, Evomuse and of course SNS get my vote. Any release from them I look forward to.

Products that I have liked from mid to late last year:

Noopept XT
Antaeus labs Thunderbolt
Evomuse BRITE and Antaeus Baiba
Bulk nitrates
Joint Support XT (got some in for my GF and I and just wow)
Racetams and other nootropics
Growth Factor XT and ZMA
What cocoa are you using jiigzz and have you noticed benifits from it or just taking because you know it has? Been looking into it myself.

Also I love Thunderbolt.

I use a Hersheys brand, but any that is not alkalized/ dutched would work just as fine. Cocoa has a lot of benefits on paper, some of which are subtle but I tend to find that my mood is a lot better. It has other benefits to do with performance, joint health, cognition etc and so for the price, it is certainly worth a go.

Great cheers, Yeah will need to look for another brand as Hersheys is not a big brand here. How much you taking a day?

Have you tried RLA over ALA? If supplementing with Lipoic Acid I always go for the R-Lipoic form. I've found it decreases my sensitivity to sunlight if I've overdone the stims &/or been working night shifts.

Good to see lemon juice, curcumin & apple cider vinegar getting mentioned again :bigok:

Absolutely. As someone who was a natty all-organic before I started the journey to get big, this is great to see. Cinnamon, black pepper, and turmeric are also essential IMO. I believe I omitted the former two in my original list.

Meriva Curcumin is absolutely amazing. I should have put that in my staple list because I use it quite often.

Nice. A fave drink with meals for me is lemon juice + apple cider vinegar + soda water (carbonated water, not soft drink).
I'm big on cayenne & sea/rock salt too.

I'm going to have to try that drink! I will also cosign the cayenne and good salt! For salt, I've been on a regular consumption of the pink Himalyan salt lately. It is said to have a better profile of trace minerals.

10-15g. Usually at the lower end of that. The price here is roughly $15-20 for 250g, so it lasts just under a month

Have you ever had ceremonial grade Japanese green tea? Kinda pricey, but that stuff is incredible.

I have not. I usually stick with cheaper stuff or add in caps, but will check it out.

If you like drinking green tea hot, it's excellent. If you just want the green tea benefits to add to a shake or something, they make a culinary grade. I think good quality ceremonial runs about $25 for 30g and culinary is about $10 for 30g I believe. I don't recommend the ceremonial grade to many people just because of the price, but if you're a hardcore tea drinker, you should check it out.

Sorry, I missed your post originally. Yeah, I've used both, but find ALA effective so I stick with it.

AVC is a must for me when calories get high and I'm eating constantly. Without it, I'm dealing with heart burn all day.

I love ACV in cooking and on salads, so extra easy for me to get in.

R+ALA, or NaRALA are the only ways to go IMO,
not everyone has the iron stomach needed for an equivalent (on basis of effectiveness) dose of ALA, it pushed my limits

Ah, of course. Never seen it abbreviated before.
Sorry, yeah,

We had a good long talk on ACV and Betaine HCl once... It was either in kenpoengineer 's log or a solo thread...

If I figure that out I will link it, but I am definitely an advocate of ACV. If nothing else, I like the taste and digestion always goes smoothly.
The insulin sensitivity/blood sugar control potential doesn't hurt :)

It was in my "growing belly" log. I can't find the search option in the iPhone app otherwise I'd post it.

Yeah and I think they complement each other nicely. I do 2oz of ACV + a lil lemon juice + a lil honey + 6oz of water and it makes for a pretty good tasting healthy drink to sip on. Give it a try.

I'll post this link as there seems to be quite a number of AM members posting here that are interested in the natural side of nutrition etc.
It's a brilliant quarterly magazine produced in New Zealand, which still has relatively free press, and they have an amazing ability to compile research & articles from all over the world, with supporting links. I'm not pushing this on anyone and if you don't agree with what you read in there that is your prerogative, but for me more knowledge is more personal power, and it's a way to balance the scales on what mainstream media & govt promote.
