Killer shoulder workout, I did a high volume lateral set and it burned! 15+ sets is rough!

Sucks about the spotters, can't you tell them "hands off"?

Shoulder workout.

Mario got held up at work so I went by myself.

Seated DB press (I cant count any of these) 105*10, 115*8, 125*4 The 2 spotter held the weights the whole facking time. When I started the 125s I literally felt off balance. It was that damn bad.

Arnold presses: 50*12, 55*12, 60*12

Front DB raise: 30*10, 35*10, 40*10, 45*10

Behind the neck military press: 135*10, 8, 6(I never do these)

DB rear delts: 15*15, 20*15, 25*15, 30*15

:sgrin: Lateral DB raise: 15+ sets of 10 reps started with 20s then dropped to 15s. A guy I talk to regularly about powerlifting joined in. Went back and forth 1 lift while the other lifts. He said it was painful but afterwards he said he plans on adding them to his workouts lol.

No dumbell military press. I have people hand them to me because it is rough trying to "kick" them up. Before it just seemed like that FULL ROM was limiting my progress and growth. I mean I go 90 degree angles now.

I'm grilling in the rain right now, where's my honorary Southerner award.

I just had about 10oz of steak and a sweet potato banana mash.

I hate it when DB get handed to you one at a time, but i think i am going to have to start doing that as well. Getting to be a pain to kick the heavy ones up.

I dont mind it bc there is no way I can kick them up. I just wish they would let the fack go. Really dont understand how people dont realize just a little bit of assistance will throw u off.

Legs tomorrow not sure what I want to make the "pump" set.

It is pretty epic not to toot my own horn. I honestly got the idea from when I was a kid and went to this chinese restaurant. They would heat up a banana. I mean it was nothing special or anything but still good.

Since confession is good for the soul, it's my turn.

My workout was so incredible and productive for me yesterday (praise Versa Gripps) I rewarded myself with some cheat eating as well. Tacos......and lots of 'em!!!




Will double up on this morning's cardio session.
VERSA GRIPPS I cannot wait...hope they come in today $$$$$$$$

My grip has been holding me back for awhile

The bananas contributed to it pretty much the same, since I used the microwave for the banana the first time. The potato was good, but I definitely prefer the taste of a sweet potato from the oven, seems to overall hold a much better flavor. But, like you said previously, sometimes, particularly post workout, spending an hour waiting isn't ideal.

So I never heard from Mario today about lifting. I thought about taking today off anyway to be honest. I took a 2 hour nap after cooking dinner. Didnt eat it but I cooked it and passed out. Btw it was very good. Today is supposed to be legs. Not 100% sure what we will do tomorrow. Earlier this week we said we would do arms on Thursday.

Oh a couple of bad ass news things. Apparently they r going to be closing the FC down for a month(probably longer) to renovate it. The FC employee said they r getting 2 new power racks that u can add PL bands to and what not. Plus have a lever u can use to lift the bar off the ground to make it easy to add plates. I honestly dont know y they r getting all this great new stuff because only a few of US will use it.

Another cool thing the GYM that I will be going to while the FC is closed is it is considered a powerlifting gym by powerliftingwatch.com. Might have to spend over a month there.

Man Im itching to lift. Will do some cardio tomorrow and then hopefully arms. Mario has missed most of the arm workouts so I doubt he is missing on purpose. Not sure if I want to do an all out death set for arms. I must say I have been contemplating a superset version of it :sgrin:

Stepped on the scale at 226.6. This is the lightest I have been since I started my cycle. Im guessing Im close to 223 or 224 in the morning. About 20 pounds to go.

Ok so workout started off slow but damn it was good.

Incline BB 275*6,4 WTF! Idk what was up. Terrible, Im pretty sure I have gotten 275*9 in a previous workout.

Cable flyes this is where the workout picked up. 6 total sets

Decline hammer strength 180 for 10 sets of 10 reps back and forth

Tricep rope ext 3 sets

Bent over hang curls 3 sets

Bench tricep cable extension lol 3 sets

Hammer curls drop sets of 10 1 goes then the other 65, 55, 45, 35, 25

Basically u bend over and with ur arm perpendicular to the group u curl the DB up in a scooping motion. 1st time doing them not sure if I like them.

Not a problem glad I could help.

I just got home from helping some friends move. Woke up at 6 am something(too early for me especially when I only got an hour or 2 of sleep). Basically moved stuff for 5 solid hours. 3 people from 2 locations moving into a house. Im a bit tired so after I pick up my car I will probably crash for a few hours.

So I got my car back today and now I want to go lift tomorrow but dont really have anything I can hit lol. Back is on monday maybe even Sunday. Chest was yesterday and is real sore. Legs I dont want them to effect my deadlift. Shoulders possibly Idk could be a good 1. Arms arent too bad I guess since we didnt have that much time to hit the. I just dont want my workout tomorrow to effect my deadlift.

Ok so moving today sucked, but I LMAO. I seriously dont know if I have ever laughed so much in 1 day. My 2 friends who r guys r moving in with this girl they dont really know. It is not going to last long lol. She is the definition of skinny. Like my friend Chris showed me some pics of her and I thought wow she is pretty skinny. And he goes no she is way skinner now. Chick seriously probably ways about 80 pounds maybe 90. No ass at all.

Ok that wasnt what was funny. Now the funny sh1t. She has a dog and that thing facking sheds like crazy. Dog hair was facking everywhere in her apartment. As we were moving her furniture my friend Chris was COVERED in dog hair like he got attacked or something. The appartment was dirty as fack. Now REALLY funny part. We go to move her bed and there r piss stains ALL over it. Both sides of the mattress and the box springs. How the fack do u get piss stains on the box springs? The thing smelled so bad. While loading it in the truck the mattress hit Chris in the head and I about died laughing. Oh and my friend Matt carried the mattress by himself with his face pressed up against it :rofl:

I've always just called them bentover concentration curls. And I freakin' love them!! :head:

I think Im about to go work back. Not sure if I want to do deadlifts today. Will see how I feel when I get there. It is such a bitch to load enough weight to get a good workout with. Plus front delts r pretty sore and Id rather not risk pulling anything out of place just because I want 685. Couldnt get a video of it anyway, but if people dont believe me now...

Back workout weighted in preworkout 227 with everything on. Can u say under 225?

Deadlifts decided against maxing today. Rep out with 405. Got 18 reps which is honestly disappointing in my eyes. Wanted that nice even 20.

Pull ups 10, 8, 7 (improved)

Bent over rows 225*10, 275*10, 295*8, 135*25

Hyper extension with DB lat flyes 20*10

Took a break because I was feeling sick. Decided to go up front and ask how much the bars could handle. This was because Milas(I think) said he said a guy snap a bar with 585. The FC employee didnt have an idea, but he didnt sound confident in the bars lol. Also saw a guy I went all through school with. Talked to him a bit as I cooled down.

Bent over rows 135*25

Ok bare with me on this explaination. Lat pull downs super set with seated cable rows. 8 sets of each. 10 breathes in between each set. Weights were 70 for lat pulldowns dropping weight after every 2 sets. Weight for seated cable rows 100 for 4 sets and then 85 for the last 4. Def brought on a good sweat and pump.

Thinking Im going to go out for a little bit tonight. Honestly dont think I will stay out long. Probably wont know too many people and Im not in the mood to deal with drunks.

Great workout, 405 x 18 is pretty awesome. You've got great grip strength there. Have you ever tried Captains of Crush? I bet you could close a level 3.

Ehh I have done close to that after maxing/heavy rep out with 550. My grip def didnt give it out lol it was my back being tired/cardio. U dont understand how taxing it is. Nope but Id sure as hell try if a set were put in front of me lol.

Hmmm Idk who it was. Im following SOOO many logs its crazy. Maybe they will chime in.

The only thing Im worried about it snapping for is what do u think will happen when it snaps? If it breaks in the center the bar could impale me like a stake. I have a strong core but not that strong lol.

I don't think it'd fail like a snap, I think it would bend and fail.

I'll have to google snapping bars, see what I can find on youtube or something...

So tonight was... interesting? Ended up hanging out with a smaller group of people I kinda know plus Lindsey. So I get there and its clear they r all drunk and Lindsey is no exception. She is feeling on me some and playing with my hair(which was barely shorter than hers[not a fan]). I decide to flirt back some. She was touchie feely with another girl{Melissa}(silently voiced my concerns before) all through the night. We kissed a few times. She started getting more drunk and more aggressive. At one point she just grabbed my d1ck in my jeans. The group decides to go out on the dance floor while I hang back and text at the table. I walk over and Melissa's bf is freaking out bc Lindsey was getting a little too touchy with his girl I guess. I walked back to the table, but wish I would have just walked out the door. Lindsey walks over and she just seems out of it. Just off in space. We go outside so she can get some fresh out. She starts throwing up yay Im babysitting now. The group walks out and just leaves great. It takes forever to get her up and forever to get her to my car then forever for her to stop hanging out the door and spit. Drive her back to her appartment and she doesnt want to get up. I have to put her arm over my back and carry her she cant walk. Finally get her inside and set up a trash can and water by her on the couch. Then leave it was only 3 hours but damn it felt a lot longer.

So that was my night front to back pretty much. Oh ya and when we were outside and Lindsey was throwing up some of my sister's friends drove by. I didnt recognize them at all because I probably met them when I was drunk. They did help me get Lindsey into the car though.

So if I was in a race Id def finish dead last... FML?

The guy that snapped the bar was maybe 1.5 off the ground when it broke. It splintered. He wasn't hurt at all. I know some of the bars on the squat racks are bent. The gym let him keep it as a souvenir

405 x 18 sounds sick. haha don't stop going heavy b/c I saw that bar snap.
