Writing in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons, Yale University researchers detail evidence that green tea's high concentration of antioxidants called catechins may offer a range of health benefits - notably as a counter to heart disease and tumors.
It is widely drunk in Asia where the incidence of lung cancer and heart disease is lower than in the United States.
