At a supraphysiological concentration of 100 microM, zinc markedly decreased Prl synthesis and secretion, but increased LH secretion. The ability of a physiological zinc concentration to influence Prl secretion suggests that this trace element may have a role in the in vivo regulation of Prl release.

I know the most recent study shows ZMA doesnt effect hormone levels but I dont believe it, I put my mate on ZMA and he started getting acne, and more frequent erections.

I've always been a big fan of ZMA (taking it now). A lot of folks say it's useless unless you are zinc deficient, I guess now there is a little bit of proof. I usually notice a little increase in acne, good sleep (weird dreams sometimes, but I like it :D ), and sometimes a slight increase in strength.

All I know is that before supplementing with ZMA, I was limp upon waking(18 year old talking here). With ZMA...let's just say I have to be more careful with my morning piss. :afro:
