Young padawan needs your wisdow

Hi there,

As I wrote on this thread (please read this and give me your opinion.thx) : Invalid Link Removed

I want to restart to zero with very effective basis, so I decide to listen to you, and to keep focused on foods intake and only "fundamental" supplements.

So, you probably did it in many thread but I ask you if you could do that for my case.

I probably (in supplement) just need a whey protein and a creatine, but in your opinion, what are the best cost effective (price/how many days it last/quality) creatine and protein in my case ? (a young student beginner on lifting (student in france = who is quite poor :d lol)

EDIT : Oh I forgot, if you can give me the type of both product (like monohydrate, CEE, gluconate etc for the creatine, and concentrate, lactoserum, caseinate, isolate, hydroisolate etc for protein) and a "exact" reference (brand and product name)

THANKS YOU AGAIN BRO

I never used my last stack yet, I will

I had to "remove" my wisdow teeth, so I eat soup during a week, I litterally melt.

The problem is I had the money to buy this stack one or two time, but is quite expensive monthly and perhaps ineffective to a beginner, so my new philosphy is "I prefere to spend money on red tuna than on a very little help that cost 40$ a month !"

So, I will use my product but I will change for more cost effective and only fundamentals for me, because of $$$ ! And supps don't lift weight for me :)

So, your fundamentals are ? Creat + whey ?

And what's about a multi-vitamin ?(I lack of energy ... etc I feel like a gothic lol) What must it contains ? Do you have a cost effective reference ?

THANKS

To Big Mama : yeah, you and your "friend" were write, 21 is so different that 20, better, in my case, I "earned" most wisdow in a couple of months than in my whole life lool. I'll be a good padawan !

Whey, Creatine, Bcaa's (Branch Chain Amino Acids), And your run of the mill Multivitamin. Something like Centrum. Cosco has one that's cheap.
That's Basic. You are going to find that your diet is the biggest factor. You don't eat right you won't grow.

Ok thanks but, hum... i didn't understand (don't forget i'm french lol)
"mill" multivatimin : what is "mill"

And, in nutraplanet, there is a good multi (because I will certainly order all my "stack" so I will buy the shipping for all of that)

And I have "XTEND" bcaa, erf, it taste like feet, is it another one better taste and as good as it (and cheaper if possible)

I think I just got my new sig. ^

Welcome back PB. Glad you're taking the time to work on the basics. Bama's recommendations were good. For creatine, I prefer micronized creatine monohydrate (Optimum Nutrition is a good brand, but there are several to choose from).

And keep focusing on the diet, you'll do fine.

So, I ask nutraplanet customer service, and my own research in NP website. There are my links, please tell which you prefer and why :

I'm lost, hydrolized, concertratred, enzyme blablabla

About creatine :

The difference of cost between those 3 creatines isn't very important because it's around 10$ divided into 250 serving (thing like that) so it's very slight. So the best one for you ?

And about multi vitamin :

For all of that supps, I think you probably knows all of them, so could you tell me why do you think you prefere this one to another ?

THANKS

For whey, I like #5 (ON 100% Whey). For creatine, the AST Micronized Creatine is great, but I can't imagine the price is the same as bulk CM from NutraPlanet. But if you say so, go with that. For multi-v, I use NOW Adam and it's great. It's kind of tough to go wrong with the vitamins, so factor in cost and you should be set.

NP Creatine Mono is 13$ a kilo
AST micronized Creatine Mono is 28$ a kilo
NP Creatine Ethyl Ester is 28$ a kilo

But can you tell me exactly how many times is the loading period and how many gram must I take, and for the maintenance period, and when it's better to take it (full dose after workout ?) ?

And for CEE ?

Because I thought I ever read that directions in product are not very "effective", and it's often need to double up serving.

EDIT: Ecto, why this signature lol, I don't know you, but even if it's a very good potent and composent are good, but I took GRAPE taste. There is a kind of strange "alcohol" after taste, and it's really everything but grape. When I drank it I thought "perharps it's just grape fruit that growth on a fuel station ...."

Loading- 5-7 days. 15-30 grams a day. (some say loading is pointless)

Maintain-5g pre/5g post.

CEE-No load needed. I would stick with Mono, CEE is a wanna-be personally. It worked for about 1 week tops, then stopped.

Many people have different thoughts on how/when to dose creatine..

Ok thanks

I'll take Mono (I just will think about Creatine mono or micronized mono)

And at seeing your avatar, you love Cytosport complete whey

i hear micronized is better. idk personally

and yea i cant turn down a protein that tastes like chocolate milk.

10lbs for $44 with 200+ scoops

thats unreal

There are a few different ways to take creatine mono. Some people take the "maintenance dose" for a few weeks, then take a week off, then start over. I take about 20g in 5g doses spread throughout the day for 3 days. Then 3 days with no creatine. Repeat. I like this method.

But you'll have to figure out what works best for you.

And your quote is in my sig because I thought it was funny.
