You probably don't have gyno

I'm seeing a lot of people in threads throwing around the word gyno like everyone in the world on AAS/DS/PHs has this condition. I'm not trying to piss anyone off or rage at anyone, just want to clear some stuff up for some people who may be scared about things that happen normally on these drugs. Gyno is not very common, and it is easy to prevent. There is also a very good sticky about gyno on these forums that I recommend you read.

Here is the most important factoid: gynecomastia(gyno) is the development of breast tissue in males. Straight up.

If you have sensitive nipples, and can feel small hard lumps underneath that are smaller than pea sized(about) this is normal for someone on steroids. You can and should take an estrogen blocking drug(arimidex, aromasin, letrozole) to control this, but it is NOT gyno. This is your body's reaction to an increase in estrogen, the hard lumps are the glands behind your nipples "swelling", but you WILL NOT grow breast tissue overnight so don't freak out. As long as you have the needed ancillaries on hand, you treat it, and the symptoms subside then you are going to be just fine.

How much anti estrogens you need, dosages, and frequency may differ from person to person. For instance right now I am on 500mg of test every week, my nipples got sensitive and I could feel a very small hard spot under my left nipple. I started taking Arimidex initially at .5mg every other day. I noticed in the first week it was helping only on the days I took it, so now I am taking .5 every day and the symptoms are now all gone after about 3 days of that. Easy.

So to wrap up, you should be concerned if you have these symptoms and they could lead to gyno over a long period of time, but you do not have gyno and if you have the proper drugs to treat the symptoms you will be fine. Don't panic.

If the symptoms do not subside after a couple weeks of treatment, then you should consider different treatment or stopping the cycle. But again, don't panic, won't help you any.
