I love Rocky! I re-watched them when a marathon was on a little while ago, and was Ivan Drago for Halloween this year, haha.

Does not seem possible that this was 40 years ago.

There's been a lot of mile stone anniversary things in my life recently.

I just saw Cheap Trick at the State Fair 35 years after I saw them there in 1981.

Such a great and inspirational movie! And still relevant 40 years later.

My six year old knows the Rocky IV story and was telling it to me to explain Rocky and Donnie's relationship in "Creed" lol

Everyone applauded at the end of the original. Have only seen the original and Rocky II. Gave up after a few minutes on the other sequels.

I learned to crack eggs with one hand watching Rocky do it.

Ah we all did this, a workout ritual a few years later when lifting weights.

Rocky III is probably my favorite to be honest. I've seen the story repeated in real life over and over as fighters get to the top and avoid the risk of real challengers.

Born in South Jersey. That area and Philly is rocky central. His story seems to chime in well with anyone who's been the underdog
