Yet another swollen ass question.

Hey, I know there's been threads about this, and I've read them. Bear with me.

This is kind of strange to me though. I've been on for about 11 weeks now. Most of the time, EOD shots with nice spaced rotation.. After a pretty heavy leg workout last Thursday I injected my right Dorsoglute with 2cc's of NPP and Test E. Same brand, same deal as the whole cycle.

A few days later I noticed unprecedented pain in my glute. I've had the post injection soreness, and this was way worse. I was limping, and I could barely sit down without pain. Forget about bending over to put on shoes. Then a day later, mild swelling, which I've never had. I took Advil and checked constantly for heat, or red marks.. anything that could show symptoms of Abcess or Cellulitus.

No heat, no redness. It's Tuesday night, and my right glute is pretty swollen. My girl even pointed it out. The pain has subsided a little, but it's still there and if my girl touches it I get jumpy.

I know people get this kind of difficulty from high MG doses, or short esters.. but this is the first time with me, and so late in the cycle? My ****'s not high mg.... I injected my right quad 2 days later and no pain, or swelling whatsoever.

I suppose I could have nicked a vein, or nerve or whatever.. but it's kind of freaking me out. Especially since there is no variants other than the process of injecting.. could it be an infection other than an abcess or cellulitus? Could it be that I had just returned from a heavy leg workout and my glute was flooded with blood, increasing the likelihood that I nicked, or agitated a vessel?

If it's not any better by tomorrow, I will check out seeing a doc about this. I just don't know what to say..

Any bros that have gone through this or have any insight, it would be much appreciated.:hammer:

i'm going thru that right now, actually. same site and everything, i am freaked out and hoping i dont have an internal abcess, but this **** has been hurting for several days now and usually by the 2nd day its not an issue. If theres no redness and is gone down a lil bit you should be fine. If you do end up going the the dr tell him you were shooting b12.

I dont really know why it would be hurting this late in the cycle, but sometimes I have that happen, for just some odd reason one shot will hurt bad just out of nowhere. As long as you dont get a fever and it doesnt look to bad as far as color, I wouldnt worry about it. This summer I was running some sust that would absolutely cripple me, there were many days I couldnt even lift just because of the pain from the shots. Wait it out a bit and if you start to get a fever then go to the doc asap.

Thanks BossK and Nate.

Today it's a lot better. I'm pretty stoked. And, being the glutton for punishment that I am, I of course shot 2.5cc's of 5% BA prop and NPP in my left glute last night, for good measure.

Thus starts my Prop close-out. Now both ass cheeks feel the same.

YOu can't say enough about symmetry. lol

Hope yours feels better too Bossk.. And Nate, thanks again.

Peace

it happens bro. your hand may have moved slightly while injecting and while it may not seem like much movement, it is. i had a slight movement doing a glute shot once and my whole left ass cheek swole up. had a bruise for 3 weeks. if you're not seeing red streaks and you don't have a fever, no worries.

ever since i started the tren on my current cycle my injects have been hit or miss. little or no pain, or fucking PAINFUL. my right asscheek is not very happy right now :hs:

You poked after a hard leg workout, that explains it.. Too much blood engorged in your lower extremeties(sp), it makes pinning in an otherwise pain-free area painfull.. If you pinned before working out, it wouldn't be sore.. I would never pin an area near where I just worked out.. Last time I hit a delt after working chest, looked like I was an extra in a Jason flick..

Haha.. Pete, yeah, I kind of thought as much. I've wiggled my pins before, one time I got a charlie horse and jerked back while pinning my quad.. and never got this bad of a situation. I'll make sure to remember to pin before training, as my quad shot falls on my next leg day.

Anyways, live and learn. And I'd be damned if I'm not still learning. Thanks for the replies guys.:nutkick:

Hmmm that would explain why my thurday night quad injects are sucking lately (leg day is thursday)... The injection itself is what kills me though, damn quad is uber sensitive post workout.... Days following its no big deal.. but I did have a soft hump in my right quad last time.. I can still feel it, but it's practically gone 6 days later.
