Yay for ATW, Nay for UPS

So, I finally got my 2lb tub of Cinnamon Bun WPB on Friday or Saturday. I've been meaning to post about it. ATW's customer service is pretty damn good. They were generous enough to toss in a few samples of other proteins they have available, but unfortunately, I was unable to use them. The powder was all over the inside of the box. UPS must've been a little rough with the handling. Who knows? I was pretty much playing 'cat and mouse' with the UPS guy, so I went to UPS and asked them to just hang onto it and I'd pick it up myself. That's what it would've eventually led to anyway. I don't think they'd purposely be rough with the package, but I've done temporary work for the USPS in one of their warehouses. I've seen how a lot of the packages are handled. It's sometimes funny, but not when it's your package.

Anyways, I just wanna thank ATW. So, thank you. I still think UPS sucks. The protein tastes absolutely incredible. The smell is to die for on its own. I love mixing it with oats and milk in the blender. Nutritious and delicious!
 
Just a quick update, which I've been meaning to do:

To those of you who have pissed and moaned about Marc or All The Whey in some... way, here's another situation, in which Marc proves how much of a standup guy he is.

I ordered a 2lb tub of cinnamon bun WPB about 2-3 weeks ago. It only took about 4 or 5 days to arrive. ATW was generous enough to toss in some samples as well. I pretty much play 'cat and mouse' with the UPS delivery guy for days 3-5. It was annoying. I had ish to do! I went to the UPS warehouse and asked the clerk to just hold onto the package for me. I told him that I'd pick it up the following day. I did just that. Once I got into the car with my package, I had noticed a powdery substance all over my jeans, my seat, the passenger seat, the compartment between the seats and the floor on the passenger side. I opened the box and saw that the samples were empty, and the powder was everywhere. I don't know if this was an accident or if UPS doesn't always care about customer satisfaction, but I didn't suddenly start accusing ATW for this. It's not their fault.

To round this up, I started this thread on Wednesday. Marc saw it and immediately sent me a PM. ATW seems to have this same problem with UPS once in a while. Marc wanted to put in a claim (stupid me threw out the box - sorry, Marc!), but also wanted to make it up to me.

Long story short... well, finally coming to an end; Mark is sending me a refill bag to make it up to me.

ATW's customer service is great. If you ever have anything wrong with a package, then just keep your cool and post about it here, or PM Marc. Don't just start ranting. ATW will have an honest and legitimate explanation if anything ends up taking a turn for the worst.
