WWE WrestleMania 25

I watched it. Was overall disappointed. Of course we knew that UT and HBK were going to steal the show...which they did. That's the one mainstay of WM...UT is going to bring the house down. But other than that the event was pretty much forgettable. Even my boy (HHH...who came to WM IN SHAPE) winning was kind of boring. The camera work was horrible. You didn't get a good angle of ANYTHING, and for the first couple matches the wrestlers timing seemed a little off. And I never want to see Mickey Rourke knockout Chris Jericho again haha. That was just weird. Ricky the Dragon was looking pretty darn good for being so old. He was impressive.

I missed the MITB :( I thought it came on at 8, not 7.

UT/HBK kicked ass! Match of the year candidate for sure.

Steamboat still has it. He was one of my favs back in the day.

I was surprised Jeff didn't legit compress his lumbar when he missed the leapfrog legdrop.

Other than that...it sucked.

In fact, I believe Steamboat can still out wrestle 90% of the WWE!!!!

I feel you about Hardy man. He does it all the time though haha. But I was thinking the exact same thing. That was a good match too. It was a sweet move Matt had to end it. Was creative.

The UT and HBK match seemed to have dragged on and on, but was interesting to me nonetheless. I don't really have anything against UT, but was hoping HBK would take the win since he's been through so much personal hardship within the past year.

I was very happy that CM Punk won the Money In The Bank ladder match. That was a very close match. Each wrestler had several opportunities to seize the moment, but only Punk carried through.

I know that Mickey Rourke was a boxer in his day, but it was kinda awkward seeing him punch out Chris Jericho. I can't stand Y2J to begin with, so don't get me wrong. I don't think Jericho will let that slide either. I wouldn't be surprised if Jericho challenges Rourke to a boxing match at some point.

I'm expecting Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat to be sticking around for a while because he was even on Monday Night Raw the following evening. He's definitely aged, but he's got respect and skill. I was very impressed.

The following night on Monday Night Raw was pretty interesting. I was rather disappointed to find out that Vickie Geurrero is taking over as GM of Raw. Though I must admit I like Adam 'Edge' Copeland. But, for the record, my all-time favorite wrestler would have to be Dave Batista. When he made that surprise appearance and Vince McMahon announced that Batista would be taking his place at Backlash, alongside Triple H and his son, I became pretty eager. If only Ric Flair were somehow involved, then it'd be like the demise of Evolution all over again. RKO is going down!
