Hey guys yesterday in the gym i was talking to some guys in the gym about help on some lifts. Well weeks before i was trying to do DB shoulder press with 100 pnds, and i usually lift by myself wit no spot. haha dont worry i dont pick a weight that i couldnt control. but for this, i felt that i spend to much energy trying to get it up on my shoulders and by the time i do, i cant lift it im already dead. And again last night i did 95 8x clean so i know i could do 100s. and when i did have someone help spot me and lift it over my head i was still tired from trying ot get it up before that my wrists got tired and it ended up just collapsing on me.

So my question would wrist supports help? not only help but make my forearms look bigger :) or will this end up hurting me in the end bc im not working my forearms? where do i get them as well? thanks you guys.

i know i gave you a site to look at but maybe some other ppl could give some input plz :)

Just get your self a pair of wrist wraps, 24inch ones would probably be sufficient. You can check out APT's wrist wraps on APT's site or over at Elitefts. The blood Stripe wraps are a nice light wrap that is comfortable but provides good wrist support. The convicts are gangster thick and really brace your wrist up, but they can be a big pain to lift in because they are really uncomfortable. Finally if you don't really feel like getting wraps, just make sure you are not holding the weight to high in your hand. When you grip the weight try to have your fingers as close to the inside of your wrist as you can, most people tend to grip the weight in their fingers rather than the palm of their hands.
