Sorry if I caused you any disrespect Wrasslin.

What was your main factor in choosing bodybuilding over wrestling?

If my memory serves me right, weren't you one helluva wrestler?

It's cool.
Just since 7th grade I've wanted to be a bodybuilder.
It's funny though.. I used to HATE weight lifting and stuff then I started playing football and got a Muscle and Fitness magazine, and then I saw this picture of Ronnie Coleman benching in the NO Xplode add and I flipped out and wanted to be a bodybuilder since.. lol.
Yeah I was good, but I want bodybuilding to be my future and I don't want anything getting in the way of my goals.
 
No worries man..at least you were building/critiquing on a premise that I put out there. It was (is) relevant to my thread.

That whole thing tho: it's like "Hey, look at me! :wave: Come check me out!" and draws attention away from the time & energy you put into your own log. If you want people to come follow your log, PM them, or at least just put it in your sig line. People will hit the link up if it interests them, without taking away from your effort.

Especially just jumping in a thread, not even having shared any info or conversation, not contributing shit to the log, and posting a link.. :nono:

Day 3

Great cardio session this morning.. very intense and fun.

Diet sucked today! I'm pissed. I had no cereal as I havn't got out to get more food, and also had no oats! So for breakfast I had a protein shake with a packet (only 1 I had) of sugar free banana bread oatmeal (that was actually amazing), and 6 pieces of bread.
Then lunch sucked to.. we don't have any chicken cooked, and I ate all the other meat in the house.. so for lunch I had a shake in water and another 6 slices of bread, it sucked!

Oh well I'm off to World to workout so that'll make it all better, I love working out there.

Day 3 Continued

Got to World and one of the most intense sessions in a long time. Could barely lift my arms by the end.
I should of snapped a pic.. my shoulders were shredded beyond belief, and full of veins.

Workout went like this-
Military press 15,12,10,10,8
Front laterals 15/15/15/15/15
Side laterals 15/15/15/15/15
Reverse laterals 15/15/15/15/15

Insane workout.. I stuck around for 20 min after I had my PW shake and had one of the amazing protein shakes they have there haha.
 
Figured bent rear-delt raises is what you were doing.
Trying to picture a reverse-lateral.. :blink: ..sounds painful, ahaa.

Ah what you said sounds a lot better..
Those are what I usually do, today though since I was at World I did it and the machine, crazy to, I got 135 8 times, I've never gone past 125 for 5 before.
 
Day 4

As usual had a great cardio session.
My methyl ripped is running low and my methyl lean is out :/
Hope my nutra order arrives tomorrow.. it's taking longer than usual.

Workout was killer, layed down for a while after this one haha-
Deads 15/12/12/10/8 supersetted with decline flyes 5x15
Overhand grip barbell rows/flat flyes 15/12/12/10/10
Then 2 sets of bodyweight push ups til failure to finish.

I'm going to switch my workout up a little bit for next week.. I'll post that up a little later.
Had my PW when I finished with 1.5g Vit C and 30 min later had 8oz scrambled egg whites.

My nutra order hasn't come in yet as I said above.. so still no Xtend. I hope it comes in tomorrow.
 
No I cut carbs out after my workout for the day..
I'm thinking of putting oats in that meal starting next week.
I just don't want any fat gain and this has always seemed to work fine (just protein post workout)
This is why I wish I had some AP or Pslin, would make it that much easier haha.
 
I understand, but this is an important part of the protocol - even w/o AP/Pslin. You're body is primed to have nutrients pushed into muscle stores at this time, and carbs will not be stored to fat in this period. I would advise at the very least some oats, but preferably like a banana as well, something quicker absorbing to go along with it. Hell even grapefruit would work well. You could also run with a combo of WMS/oats.. something bro..
 
Yeah I've been thinking it over and next week I'm going to give it a try again.
I'll probably be doing 1-2 cup oats and a banana (depends on how much oats). It'll total to 100g carbs.
My logic behind all this is that even though it all supposebly goes to your muscle, I don't think that all of it actually does, and the little bit that doesn't just sits around and gets stored as fat because the rest of my day unless its spring/summer/fall when I run at night, I just lay around and do nothing.
It may not make sense, but I don't know, it's only in the winter I don't have carbs in my post-workout meal.
I'm going to give it a go though next week and see what happens..

Oh yeah, quick question Snag, have you ever done chromium or vanadyl with your carbs or a mix of both? If so how does it compare to AP or Pslin. I know they work in different ways.. but just wondering.

Y'know, there is middle ground. I would agree that - without AP or Pslin - yes, you consume that much and some will probably stored as fat.

It'll probably go like a banana and glass of milk or something.

I'm so happy its winter and I can't walk to the store right now.. I'm having the worste craving for donuts in I don't know how long.
I havn't had a cheat meal since.. November I think.
I usually never crave junk food but when I do its BAD.

Like donuts (when I cheat its ALOT) I don't see the point in them.. they cover up everything I've worked for by putting on fat, make me feel like shit, and makes me lazy then the next day is real hard to get back on track.

Should of seen my last cheat meal haha.. my friend and this girl I was with at the time were at Walmart and I was craving cookies horribly, they got some and after about an hour talked me into having one.. then I ate the last half of the box, then got this box of a dozen assorted donuts.. I went to town! Ate 11 out of the 12.

Next day was awesome though.. I woke up, looked in the mirror, NO change at all I was speechless. I gained like 1 pound and that was it.
 
Pffffft.. dude, you ain't got nothing on my madness. Serious. I'll eat the worst kinds of foods you can think of, for hours on end.. no joke. 15k cals in a 10hr period is about one of my demolishings.. I wake up the next day like 7-10lbs. heavier. :jaw:

I got my cheat meal planned for my bday in March.. actualy cheat day, but whatever.

That's one of the times. And after I tore my calf.. couple times a year. But staying focused on diet really isn't hard for me at all. I never get cravings for cookies or ice cream or crap like that. I just like to cut loose every once in awhile.

Ah yeah.. Funny thing is though, I had this same craving last weekend and actually decided I might get some donuts, but when I got to the store and saw them I just had a complete change of mind.

So true, It requires so much dedication to bulk, and to grow, without putting on fat, or keeping fat increases at a minimum, Recomp is much nicer.

I completely agree.. I also think that if your going to dedicate yourself to something, you represent that something the best you can, if your all fat and bulked up that doesn't represent our sport very well if your out of shape anytime your not dieting.

So true, great mentality. Especially as a natty athlete; it's not like we're juiced up, where that approach might be more useful. A natural approach requires a more thoughtful, consistent attack..
 
Day 5

As usual woke up, 3 MR and 3.2 BA and hit the cardio.. great session as usual, MR really makes you sweat! I'm going to miss it.

Workout was great, very intense, insane pump, I've been having the best recovery between sets ever lately!
Workout went like this-
Dbell curls/1 arm dbell overhead extension 12/10/10/10/8
Hammer curls/Tri kick backs 12/12/10/10/10
Iso dbell curl 12/12/12 with tri push ups 25/25/25

Right now I'm seriously PISSED though.
I made my order at Nutra Sunday right, it usually takes 3 days tops to get here.
That would have made it Wedsday it should have arrived, it didn't come yesterday, and it's still not here today! This is ridiculous. They have never took more than 3 days before.

There done with the rant.
 
Day 6

Good cardio session, great sweat, when done popped my calcium+vitD/chromium/Vit C and digestive enzymes and ate my half box of bran flakes and protein.

Didn't get to workout today unfortunetly.. went to my moms, and by the time we finished doing stuff around the house all the gyms were closed.
Went and saw Marley and Me though, that was a good movie.

Oh yeah.. my stuff STILL hasn't come in.
