Workout suggestions for my grandmother needed

She had surgery on her back about 10 weeks ago and she thinks that she is not progressing as fast as she should be. I told her she is older so recovery time is slower and she probably did not use her muscles in her back as much. I suggested after talking to her doctor trying an un weighted good morning a few times a day to help strengthen her lower back.

do you guys have any suggestions for something she could do that is low impact?
 
Having her age and type of surgery as stated above would help the question dramatically.

Based off what you have given, I would keep in mind shes older and recovery time is going to be way slower than normal. Back surgery is pretty major to begin with. However, the body weight good mornings are a start for her. She could also do rows with canned food goods if she is able to. All this depends on dr clearance though.
