Woody Trests the Dark Side

I like what these guys have suggested for chest. I'm currently only using the bar if I'm doing close grip or reverse grip. Reverse grip has HUGELY helped my upper chest development.

I love underhand bench, but awkward like you mentioned. I also switched to DB bench for a long time and saw great growth and strength increases.

I tried an incline underhand bench superset with push-ups yesterday. Good lord, chest pump was unreal.

Oh man I'm sore as hell too. I did some moderate rep sets on bench at 245 and then did isolation moves yesterday with dips finisher. My chest is screaming, hopefully that means more growth!

If you guys have Hammer Strength machines at your respective gyms, try this out on the bench press one:
Try sitting sideways and pushing the handle across your chest towards your other arm, one arm at a time. Then finish off with a burnout sitting regularly using both arms at the same time. I've found this to be a fantastic touch-up exercise for chest, and it gives such a great contraction for your pecs without incorporating your shoulders very much.
Make sense?

I see guys doing this alot but always wondered if my front delt would get too involved, maybe it's time I stop being a lil bitch and check it out lol

I think I might try this out tomorrow :)

Just keep your elbow down towards your side like you're supposed to when you're benching regularly, so not flaring out.

Gotcha, Friday I hit upper body again. I'll give it a go. Maybe as a finisher.

Definitely man! I love doing it at the end of my chest workout before I start shoulders.

I do this! I've never done the finisher set though but I like the idea.

Also like all of the other suggestions in here I didn't notice until now.

Should I still incorporate lighter weight reverse grip press? I don't have a spotter and don't feel comfortable going too heavy bc it just feels odd

Yes I would do a weight you're comfortable with and focus on impeccable form and mind muscle connection. Feel the contractions in your chest and triceps and make it burn.

Woody you can kind of do reverse presses with just dumbbells.

It's the sewing in your joints :P start with 25s and go up from there. I'm steady at about 45 for 12 at the moment.

As for reverse grip without a spotter. You don't have to go super wide like most people recommend. Start with just the bar to figure out where you get the most chest contraction based on grip width. After a few warm ups put on a weight you can easily overhand bench, unwrack it normal. Rest it on your chest and then switch your grip to underhand one at a day is the best way I can recommend without a spotter.

It was a pretty embarrassing story, TBH. I broke my ribs racing a go-kart at 80 mph. I broke my elbow when I was 12 doing dumb kid stuff. I broke my wrist by sneezing.

I've never been a strong Barbell bencher... DB have always been easier and more natural to me (for lack of a better term). I'll try out reverse DB press next chest day.

Hope this helps

Need suggestions on a natty stack to tie me over for the time being.

I use Triumph, Endure, MaxReps as staples.

Potential Supps:
BMP
Testify
X-Gels
ABE
FD 2.0
Epi

I have been running ep1c with sup3r and feeling pretty strong. I think you should try Triumph and report.

My girlfriend and I make a lot of recipes off of Tasty on FB. Great follow. We always change the recipes a bit but it's a good starting point

We're making Smores next haha

Not gonna lie, that looked delicious, bro. I could smash some french toast.

~My PCT/Off Cycle Supps will be:
-Clomid (SERM)
-Exemestane (AI)
-SUP3R PCT (OTC PCT)
-Test1fy (Multi-ingreident Test booster)
-Tr1umph (For Creatine, PA, etc)
-Endur3+ (For BCAAs+Carbs, etc)
-Str3ngth Unleashed (For Laxogenin)
-Ep1c Unleashed (For Epicatechin)
-Ignit3 (Multi-ingredient Fat burner, to keep lean as I cycle off anabolics and adjust my calories)
-Albuterol (For fat loss, and its anabolic and anti-catabolic abilities, definitely helps in PCT)

I am interested in adding ArA though, for more natty gains.

I had French toast for breakfast M and T and for dinner last night lol. We got some "Breakfast Bread" from HEB and some Cinnamon swirl bread from Trader Joes and God bless it's delicious as French toast

After PCT I'm not sure what to run as I continue to bulk.

FD 2.0 sounds great but the sides are awful for those who get them.

I love ArA even before I was a rep.
Testify and ABE are mutually exclusive. But, if I went with ABE, I'd add LJ and Super PCT.

ArA has a lot of synergy with Triumph.

I'm a big responder to Epi, but I like it more in a cut for endurance. I don't respond well to Laxo.

BMP is on a great deal and feedback has been solid.

I stopped subbing to the FD2.0 threads because people were running so much other things with em so it wasn't clear what results they would get from just base product. What kind of sides did you read about?

Yeah a few people are running 6-7 other products... Hard to base your results on FD....

Super dry, achy joints and chocolate waterfall GI distress were the two big ones

Edit: oh and lethargy!

Jesus christ, that sucks. I mean I like a good poop as much the next guy but I spending more time on the ****ter than at the gym is not my cup pf team and I hate lethargy, no thanks!

Don't go chasing waterfalls lol

No, was it that bad? Lol

Oh god, even just having that fear at the gym would be counterproductive. I'd be afraid to Squat or Deadlift, no one likes going for a PR and crapping their pants. Unless its a REALLY impressive PR.

Why not, marathoners **** themselves all the time lol

I think I'd keep my dignity over a 1200 lb deadlift lol

Lol what would be worse crapping yourself or vomiting mid lift

I know you guys seen the video before haha

I had to pop a squat in the woods on mile 8 of my first half marathon, totally ****ed my time lol
