Wobmarvels let's go natural for a while (almost) and see what happens log.

When I used it last year I was on an extremely low carb diet. I would notice I would get light headed dizzyness like hypoglycemic feelings which I translated as carb cravings cos eating a sugary snack would make them go away. I know your supposed to stay away from mk if your diabetic so it must screw with blood sugar or something. Having said that the minimal carbs at the time may explain why I didn't blow up the same since the body gets most of its bloat from carbohydrates.
Good thing I'm not diabetic. I am insulin sensetive :)

Trying out some random 5% stuff. I'm pretty sure Rich said this would happen over his dead body. Guess he was right. Invalid Link Removed

This stuff actually tastes great. Tried it in water and it definitely has a whole foody taste too it. Actually makes a pleasant change from all the "are you a grown man serious about muscle growth? Heres our new fruit loops pixie unicorn flavour protein with real sweeties in"

Down side is its about £1.10 per serve and the first ingredient on the list is whole oats followed by the protein blend which is 20 grams so its a 65 gram serving, more than 20 is oats, 20 is protein blend then you must get a sprinkling of rice, sweet potato etc.

Still, it's nice to drink, will try with some almond milk tomorrow to compare.

So I have been officially diagnosed with sciatica and need to see a physio therapist. Down side is on the NHS I can expect an appointment any time in the next ten weeks.

Pain has been so bad some days I'm onto the pain killers.

And oh no I need to avoid exercises that put too much strain on the lower back. It's official guys I have to dodge barbell squats and deadlifts, doctors orders.

I think I may start doing higher rep goblet squats or something though because my legs were diffinitely getting stronger and I don't want to end up back at square one.

I have stopped getting bloody notifications!

Sorry to hear about your back, man. Get the help you need faster to avoid any more pain.

I really don’t know what to say. Just shitty times.. are you looking for some part time assignments? I am sure there must be plenty available, no?
Yeah it's all a bit stuck in limbo. Decided to get qualified to be a personal trainer, then realised I can't do the fast track 5 week course because I'm too far from the training centre and also don't think I can realistically support the family with it. So the course is an online course with assessments that take place about 200 miles away. Plus online assessments that take up to two weeks to be marked and if I get any wrong I need to re do them. So it will take me months not weeks to get through the course and that's without being guaranteed a job at the end. So I decided to put it on the back burner and try and get myself a retail management based job in the meantime seeing as that's what I did for the last 20 years or so and treat the PT thing as a side project then hopefully a little extra on the side. I've applied for about 23 jobs so far, had a couple of interviews, a couple of online "tests" waiting to hear back from, some I haven't heard from at all. I ha e an interview for an assistant managers job at Nandos on Friday so we will see how that goes.

Ouch. I know your pain and I hate the sciatic nerve. It is a good time to really work bench and upper body. A belt squat machine could be nice if you have access, Ive never used one but improvise standing in boxes with a belt and plates. Go easy and get well soon!

I've been doing a lot of the first video type stretches, doesn't seem to make a difference. The second vid I can't get my left leg straight without extreme lower back pain and if I raise my toes towards my knee the pain gets much worse. I'll keep trying. The most entertaining event in my house at the moment is trying to put a sock on my left foot.

Please look at this channel, they have a ton of helpful release techniques:

Here a playlist of vids addressing the problem (right hand)

Some of them work better than others for me.

Been watching a few vids. Think I'm onto something. Sometimes stretching is the answer but sometimes it's the stretch that agrivates the pain and further stretches make it worse so contractions can then help. I've been trying some bitchin butt clenching exercises and they do seem to ease the pain.

Also still been using the 5% Joint defender, nothing to help with sciatica I understand but overall joint maintenance and well being and the good news is my kid wanted to race me after school today and I made him eat my dust, in your face seven year old!! Now that's a sign of a good parent.

Seriously I'm still in pain but I think things are easing. Also my interview seemed to go well today. Hopefully this is the start of a good change in fortunes.

There is only surgery, cortisone shots and/or rehab. Rehab is the way. I did yesterday some new exercises that helped. Apparently, after stretching, the nerve stays irritated for awhile, no instant relief -but today, the day after, I feel way better! Will keep doing them.

Sorry to hear the bad news lately Wob, but don't get yourself down. Things will turn around for you eventually and you'll appreciate it that much more when things are going right.

Just a question: Do you use cialis (tadalafil)?
No I don't but I did start a high dose mk677 coming off cycle by brawn (30mg caps). Very potent, gained like 7 lbs water weight in a couple of days. I've read kor watched a vid) that mk can agrivate soft tissue inflammation plus hit libido and lethargy, already knew the last one. The leg/hip/lower back pain has been there for months if not years in an "I can deal with the occasional niggling pain" kind of way but it's definitely gotten much worse in the past few weeks so the mk has finished and I'll see if it makes a difference. Also taking brawn gw50516 at the moment too which I've never used before and who knows what these companies are actually putting in their sarms.

I hoped it was cialis, sh1t. If I were you, I would do every single rehab thing I find on youtube, including hanging upside down and whatnot. I have mine under control, so to speak -but I had sleepless nights of pain before. Find the exercise that helps you, that is your mission. There are only a few dozen :)

I'm all over that sh1t!!

Worked shoulders today, tried some new stuff. Didn't go too heavy, getting a feel for stuff.

Seated overhead barbell press.

15kg x 20
35kg x 15
45kg x 12
50kg x 8,8,8

45 degree bent over barbell rows into shrug. Felt this in the lats too but rear delts and traps definitely got involved.

25kg x 20
35kg x 20
45kg x 15
55kg x 15,15,15

Could have gone a fair bit heavier on these but conscious of lower back just now.

Arnold presses superset with lateral raise.

15/12, 15/8

Realised at this point its better to do laterals first then when I reached failure I can get more out of the Arnold press with better form until failure.

12/12

Only used 12.5 kg dumbells for these which was okay for the laterals but too light for the Arnold's so will alternate between two different sets next time.

Finished with seated bent over laterals superset with those straight arm steering wheel things using a 10kg plate.

I was only using my wife's 3kg dumbells for the bent over laterals but that was enough.

15/15, 15/15, 15/15

You know your well in the zone when you can crack on with your workout with your 5 year old kid in the room playing music on the Google home mini by "the toilet bowl cleaners" many many songs involving poop. Look them up on spottify, song titles are hilarious.

So as you can see I've not posted much recently. Still working out, still taking sups, didn't get the nandos job, gutted.

The annoying thing with the nandos, (I get that its not exactly a high earning dream job but I just wanna get working again) I did a phone interview, did a face to face interview, got the train down to Dundee to eat in the restaurant, do a swot annalysis then worked an on the job shift. Feed back was "you did great, the manager who interviewed you thought you were great, Gareth who did your on the job experience thought you were spot on. Exactly the personality and drive we are looking for, unfortunately the area manager has restructured and the vacancy is no longer available."

So aligning everything up for my next cycle.

Should be something like.

Lgd 4033 10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10

Rad 140 0/5/10/10/10/10/10/10

S4 0/0/25/50/50/50/50/50

Pct clomid 50/25/25/12.5/12.5

Going with fusion supplements. Looking to trim down to no lower than 180lbs then manipulate diet to recomp at that weight.

Will start new thread when I'm underway.

So back from holiday, bit of a bummer but at least I don't have work tomorrow hahaha... Haha.. ha... Oh wait.

Didn't work out at all whilst away, did a little swimming but it was more of a fun pool than a laps pool.

At least my diet was on point.Invalid Link Removed

That is pure poison, LOL!

So, goodies in the house!!

Also some of the current supps I'm using. As you can see I'm going through a bit of a redcon phase.Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed

I'm aware of the suppression from lgd and rad but I'm no stranger to crazy oral only cycles. I ran ostarine and S4 for 8 weeks a couple of years ago when I shed around 40lbs. I also ran a 6 to 8 week lgd cycle last year using superdrol as a Kickstarter so I've done some redicilous stuff. Ideally I would have ran the lgd at 5mg but I am determined to stick with fusion and it's 10mg. I expect lethargy to happen for sure.

Originally o wanted to try s23 but I cannot find any research that doesn't say to use test as a base. Some recommend this for rad and lgd too but I have read plenty that say it isn't 100% necessary.

I'm certainly no expert in these things, but it seems like those are low doses these days - especially for the LGD and rad. I've seen 12-16+... 20 mg quoted on here for both. Now I know you're stacking, but you might want to consider that. Also, I believe rad is a better kickstarter - the idea is do that early and jump off before lethargy kicks in.

Thanks for the advice, I originally wanted rad at 20 but decided since it's a three compound stack without a test base I would play it safe, may mean little to no results but we will see. I have gone to 15 to 20 mg with lgd before and I got heavy lethargy after a couple of weeks. There are people who say you need 20mg to get anything from it but these are usually people who are utilising it as part of a steroid cycle. Personally I would have still preferred 5mg per day. If you look back to when this stuff was first doing the rounds people were getting results at that dose. Possibly placebo results. I want to check I feel okay on the lgd for a week before adding anything else but I could go something like.

Lgd 10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10
Rad 0/5/10/15/20/20/0/0
S4 0/0/0/25/50/75/75/75

Get a slight overlap between the rad and S4 whilst keeping lgd base constant ,plus crazy night time yellow vision on S4 at 75.

I am also a firm believer in tapering up, most people say not to waste those weeks and start at max dose but I would rather let my body ease in, if that means less gains then meh.

Not starting anything until the weekend anyway so time to think. Trying to get back into the swing of working out and eating better before I start.

Incidentally the rainbow candy flavour total war tastes amazing. For anyone from the UK it is just like refreshers.

To be honest I have been reading up more and more this morning and I think I'm gonna stick to the original plan. Pretty much everything I'm reading based on references to the scientific research then combined with anecdotal recommendations states that both lgd and rad should be ran for 6 to 8 weeks with a minimum of 5mg to a max of 10mg for lgd and 10mg/20mg for rad. A lot say that S4 should be ran at a max of 50mg if you want to avoid the vision sides or ran 5 days on 2 off but I don't like that idea. I have used S4 before at 75mg and sure enough at night I was pretty much blind. I remember having to get up in the night to see to my kid who was 3 at the time and even though there was low light in the room I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. Incidentally I had my eyes tested earlier this year and I have no issues with my optic nerves, retinas and my vision is perfect 20/20 in one eye and almost perfect in the other (just in case anyone wondered about long term effects)
