Cedric Wilson went to the Steelers right?

you don't have a lot of faith in that Rashaun Woods guy im guessing...

maurice hicks looked good at the end of last season, too small though? (5-11, 200lbs). Barlow runs like he's 180lbs.
Wilson signed with the Steelers and the 49ers could have easily matched that deal if they wanted him.

I don't know about Rashaun Woods yet. I admit that Erickson was unfair with playing time for him last year and he has underperformed to the point where he's the last WR in the depth chart right now. I would also like to see what he has but the feeling right now is that they can't wait to dump him. I would still give Woods a chance to prove himself. He had a hell of a career at Oklahoma St and was a 1st round pick so the guy has to have some talent. I also believe the coaching staff last year did a horrible job with rookies. Each rookie or even young guys looked like they didn't know what the hell was going on, almost as if they were practicing during a game.

Barlow is still a big mystery to me. He had so much success complemeting Garrison Hearst for 2 years that he fooled everyone into thinking he would be an automatic 1200 yard a year running back with great receiving skills and played like a complete heartless puss once he was the starter. I'm not too worried if he screws up because Gore and Hicks can do a decent job if Barlow doesn't play like his old self

Ty Moss? You must out yo' damn mind! He couldn't find the field last year, Gore beat him out! This kid is a bust, as of now, as far as I'm concerned. He'll be beat out by Charlie Jones or Derron Thomas this season, IMO.

You a Gators fan, right? Then you gotta remember those 205 yards McGahee threw down in the Swamp in 2002?

McGahee had the best SEASON in the history of The U in 2002.

Well, Gore had him beat for the #1 RB spot after the championship season in 2001, until his first ACL injury in spring practice in 2002.

That's how good Gore was. Averaged over 9 yards per carry in 2001 spelling Clinton Portis. Gore was the best RB I've seen at The U.

Just my opinion. I have heard many people, especially coaches I know, say that Moss is the best running back ever in the state of Fl. As much as I hope he doesn't, I think he will prove that in the next 2 years. McGahee is no doubt an absolute beast as well. Gore, OTOH, never really showed me much. I've heard everybody talk about his potential, but IMO he hasn't shown me what McGahee or Portis did.

Just a Gators' POV.

Well he does have to outshine Emmitt Smith and Fred Taylor. Not going to be easy but Urban Meyer can certainly help.

We'll see.

He's improved his physical numbers. That doesn't make a good RB.

He was too timid at the point of attack last year. Year before too.

I hope he tears it up. We need it. But, he's still a big question mark on the field as far as I'm concerned. I hope one of the Soph RB's start. So Moss won't get complacent as in his frosh. year.
