my doctor put me on 5mg a day of tadalafil for the last year after I have been complaining of low T symptoms for years..I'm currently 45 years old. I definitely feel that alpha-male feeling at times, I'm horny all the time. Almost like puberty again. I don't know if this means more test in my body or just blood flow to my junk. .I never used real gear, but, I've run ph/ds on and off from 1998-2015. However, I haven't worked out in years but plan on starting again soon. thanks in advance to anyone that has heard about this method of raising test levels or tried it themselves, Jeff

Tadalifil doesn't raise test levels, it can indirectly balance out some hormones and have a small effect but it really doesn't do anything for your testosterone levels. Your doctor tried to pull a fast one on you and they do this s*** all the time. You came and complaining about low testosterone and they don't want to put you on testosterone so they give you a boner pill. 5 mg daily Cialis is great for your general health it's great for the bedroom it'll slightly lower your blood pressure and give you some better pumps in the gym. But it's not raising your testosterone levels.

When you went to the doctor complaining about low testosterone symptoms did he give you a blood test and check your testosterone levels?

Cuz if he did not then he is a negligent doctor and you need to find a new one

You need a new doctor as yours is somewhere between stupid and negligent. It seems he only chose to address one small symptom that can accompany low T. That said if you are feeling alpah and horny all the time there's a good chance your T is just fine. Get blood work.

Any effect your having is placebo.

I was going to post a comment about it possibly being placebo, but didn't want to risk you losing out on your benefits.

I've thought about this before ....
If I was really depressed, and my Dr said I needed to take this certain medication that he prescribed, and I did, and then I started feeling 95% better .....
And then a friend of mine said, "You know, it could just be placebo".
You know what I'd do? I'd keep taking the pill.

:)

So I am also 45. Had that alpha feeling every now and then, eat right mostly and pretty consistent in the gym. Got tested and I was at 190. I do love some cialis every now and then, but my point is get tested

Thank you for sharing that, that's a valuable piece of information. Many people feel completely normal with low testosterone and there's lots of people with high testosterone levels who feel like they have low testosterone. There's so many variables

On the other end .... But still backing up the "get tested" sentiment....

Years ago, I was feeling really crappy, I was honestly 90% sure I had finally wrecked my natural Test somehow, so I went and got the "everything" test done.

And ... All the Numbers came back great (my D3 was a tad low, but just barely).
My Test levels were Incredible.

Turns out it was (apparently) just a mental thing. I had a Lot going on, and it had just affected the way that I felt. But I went in there for the results, expecting to have the conversation about getting on TRT ASAP.

Coming from my experience personally, anxiety and depression can feel like low testosterone, even on 500mg of test. Pretty much every winter that happens to me. I been injured and depressed a little lately and other then my sex drive being high, I'm tired, unmotivated, sore in muscles that haven't been trained in almost 2 weeks. Dopamine or lack of dopamine, can feel exactly like low T
