I've been lifting seriously for 10 years and on and off prior to that from the age of 13. So around 13 years total. I've been into the supplement market since creatine first came out and have tried just about every decent or garbage product to come downt he road since. I've been off any AAS for the better part of 2 month. For the first 2 weeks of this log I will be using anagen, which I've been on for around 1 1/2 months.

My current stats are
6'1 1/2 inches (damn near 6'2)

225-230 lbs (been back and fourth but seems to be climbing)

Bodyft is around 11-12% has been dropping

The only other supplement I'll be on are REM, exceed, cissus (I think I was told it's ok but I'll recheck if I'm wrong it's off the list). There might be another few but I'll have to check ahead. As of right now though that is it.

I'm training with the WS for skinny bastards program, which I've used in the past and always do well with. Tonight will be my first dose I'll start with 4 caps for ME upperbody and either post back tomorrow or maybe tonight.

Probably to soon to tell, but I seemed very "zoned" at the gym last night. My rack lockouts where up like 10-15 lbs from last week. Good pump but nothing out of the ordinary.

BTW, this is only for pre-workouts so even if you lift 4-5 days a week a bottle should last you quite awhile? Or are you supposed to take it on non training days at a smaller dose? I'm thinking about it in this case just to get more days under my belt in hopes of noticing it's effects sooner for the sake of the beta test. Anyone's opinion from USP or even otherwise would be appreciated.

just play around w/ it- if a low dose does not cause any effects- go up a cap or two

just play around w/ it- if a low dose does not cause any effects- go up a cap or two- this trial is a setup for another trial- i am trying to figure out the cause and effect of synergism between certain products- don't worry, there is a method to my madness :)

Is it a no-no to take it with Melting Point, I dropped the basic cuts. Actually I dropped them both but wouldn't mind running the mp for the rest of the week then taking 2-3 off then going back on it or both MP/Basic cuts.

Any chance you could tell me a bit more about this product in terms of which of things mentioned you're execting it to do the most?

BTW I tried to pm you this but that wasn't an option.

you can take it every day if you want- but i would not take after 5pm

i would not go past 6 caps at once

Ahh don't take it after 5...that would explain the semi difficulty I had sleeping last night. And that I'll probably have tonight.

I lift at around 8-9:30 (sometimes 10). I'm in bed by 11:30 or 12 typically. Wasn't too bad last night, but I did notice a little trouble sleeping. Nothing compared to some other products I've used too late in the day. EHEM! COUGH VENOM COUGH COUGH! Just kidding ALRI Venom is the ish! Just gotta time it right.

Anyway I had another real decent workout tonight but it was more of an energy systems workout ie. 30% of my 1rm on 2 diff lagging bodyparts with the goal to get 100 reps with 10 second breaks between sets. I did pretty damn well.
Overall it was 5-6 sets of preacher curls to get to 100 and then only 4 sets of weighted crunches to get to 100. That all took less then 25 minutes wich was shockingly fast and while it might have been placebo I felt fairly focused. Still to soon to make any major claims. I'd like to have a bad day and see how it works...well I don't really want to have a bad day but you get the point.

jeez- that sounds pretty brutal!!
 
Actually it's not that bad. If you think about it I was only curling 45 lbs and doing crunches with like 130.

BTW, I don't know if it was the REM of the Mystery product but I has some serious pine almost all night to the point it was limiting the positions I could sleep. I'm guessing my gh levels are up?

Well I'm taking the day off today but I will comment on one that that has not happened in a long time. I'M SORE?

I'm going to chalk that up to the MUCH higher volume of work I did compared to what I've been doing 40 reps vs my normal 3-8 might do that. PLUS I know the MP can cause some DOMS (or I think I've heard that). The MP factor will be ruled out in another 3 days as I'm going off of it at the end of the week.

Here's another possibility. The MM, miight have helped me really tap into the mind muscle connection that caused the soreness I'm experiancing. Tomorrow I go back to the WS protocol I've been on for about 1 week now and if I'm sore like this from that workout we might be on to something.
 
SON OF A *ITCH!

Well I think I might have a little injury on my hands. Yeah I was sore and that has like 3 days ago, and now only 1 arm is sore. My left arm. Kinda on the outside head of my bicep right near where it meets my forearm, wich is also kinda tight and stiff. :frustrate :frustrate Not happy about this to say the least. I was using 4 caps of cissus a day lately as my supply is getting low and I was talking more for awhile before that so I kinda like to tapper up and down and sometimes off completely. NOW I'm thinking about bringing it back up to 6 and should be able to swing that till the sale comes without bonning myself and running out so we'll see. I haven't trained in like 4-5 days and in all honesty this little injury/sprain/strain is probably my body telling me I should take a little break so I hope that's not a huge deal. Training for my lowerbody at the least will resume on tuesday and I'm pretty dam sure I can do everything except deadlift (I'm wondering if my new PR's and using a mixed grip might have put some extra strain on me and started this???). So I apologize for the little setback, it will only be momentary. I really dont' know what I did to my f'in bicep. I wasn't curling heavy AT ALL, it didn't hurt when I was lifting like "OH LORD I HURT MYSELF!". In fact the next day it was pretty much as sore as my right arm. Then as the day when on, and the next day came it seemed to just stick with me and it's still pretty damn annoying. Hurts the most when I have my arm bent for awhile then try and straighten it, especially if I try too quickly. It's kind of a deep soreness/bruised feeling with some slight sharp pain here and there. No discoloration and in regards to my right arm it looks about the same?

Seems to feel a bit better and I have an A.R.T treatment on wednesday (I think it's this week). So hopefully things will be back on track by wednesday...yeah ART works that quick. Unless I've really hurt myself.

Hope you have quick recovery D, broken knuckes/fingers dont' go well with most lifts. Plus all you can really do is splint em and tape em up. I wont' even go to the hospital anymore unless it's REAL bad (bones are sticking out) but I have very little coverage right now.

Yeah I dont' know what to make of it????

If I have my arm bent (like when I type) it hurts to straighten it. Otherwise it's pretty much fine? Guess it's getting better. Not like any injury I've ever had. ART is next week:rant:

i was a pitcher in high school and part of college- i had the same type of problem quite a bit- it is some sort of elbow tendonitis- good news is cissus will get rid of (hint, hint)

i did long toss the other day w/ a friend of mine that plays in college, and we were throwing the ball back and forth about 200-250 feet apart- i have not picked up a baseball in like 3 years- i wasn't even sore the next day. but if i had done the same thing w/o the cissus, i would not have been about to move my arm the next day

Dude, no word of a lie, the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. For the longest time after I ripped up the ligaments in my shoulder playing hockey it would hurt like hell to throw a ball. But the other week (after being on Cissus for the past few months) I had zero issues. Once again the Cissus has given a broken down man a new hope on life :bb3:

Yeah it's about better and I'm going to get back on track tonight. I'd like to get up to a solid 230 before this next cycle starts. And that's only about 1 month away. I'm pretty confident I can.
 
Back on track so it seems and had a real good workout tonight cosidering the week off. Pump wasn't anything exceptional but I didn't go over 5 reps most of the time (doing a westside protocol). Got 545 on my last set (think it was set 8) of rack pulls with no belt. I think it's about time I invested in a belt. Anyway I had and still do have a pretty good sense of well being and focus going. Took 5 caps. No shaking or jitters and I didn't really catch myself rambling on and on to anyone in the gym like I'm on crank or something, as I have with other preworkout stims. Then again I'm not sure if this is a stimulant at all right? Well that's it for now, time for oatmeal/sex/and rem.

it is an anabolic stimulant- the stim effects you will notice right away (although not as much as some other products), BUT the anabolic effects will really be noticeable after 7-10 days
 
Had another pretty darn good workout. GREAT PUMPS, however I once again have to be honest ever since I've been using the various otc supplements I've been using this time around while off cycle my pumps have been just as good as when I'm on. No ****. Concentration is certainly there at 5 caps preworkout. I also noticed being strangely happy and very amped (but not like overstimulated amped) more like I was soo happy and in a good mood I felt energetic. I most likely would just attribute it to being in a good mood, then again it wasn't like anything particularly GREAT was going on at the time. Then again I was going to lift and that was the most fun I'd had all day. Kinda reminds me of an old saying from growing up on the shore. A bad day at the beach beats a good day at work. Same goes with the gym for this guy:clean:
 
Not much to report changewise in the gym. Good workouts and even better pumps. In fact the pumps might be lasting longer then they where in the past. I think I've noticed it but I'm going to watch out for it in the future. Otherwise nothing to exceptional but I did try something different today. I noticed I have had trouble sleeping when I take them too late but I lift late. It's not terrible but it takes longer then I'd like to fall asleep. So I tried taking 3 this morning just for the energy aspect, and the hard work I had in store for the day. Well I can only say that I felt pretty damn decent all day long. Nice energy alot of drive and I was able to concetrate and get ALOT of work done in 5-6 hours of work (probably did what most would do in 8). So I'm thinking of trying this product at 2-3 caps in the am and then 2-3 before I lift on my training days. Then just 3 on the days I'm off in the am if I feel like it could help. I'm also basing this on the anabolic effect of the product wich as I understand gets greater over extended time of use, so the more it's introduced to my system the greater the anabolic effect will be acheived. Does that make sense? Or am I missing something?
 
Well the focus is really nice in the gym and I can definitely say I notice a better pump as it's just about the only thing I'm taking. I'm about all out of cissus, so 4 caps a day here and there if I'm hurting is all it's been for the past 4-5 days. My anagen is long gone. Not using any of the DS supps I was using. NOt anyting personal I'm just getting ready for the summertime-one--time-juice-box-johhny-jump-off delux mega-bucks cycle. SO I'm saving the rest of what I have for the winter time. Yes I know summer just started:smite: :bb3: :food: :clean: :bb: :rant: :good: :head: :squat: :saw: :bb:
 
I will say that taking it close to bedtime is obviously a bad idea. It's not a caffiene or mind racing kind of buzz like other products much more like a zoned out feeling with very deep concentration.. Funny thing is I forgot to charge my mp3 player the other day = me having to listen to the :fart: music in the gym, you know like the club remix version of San Fransisco. Anyway that would normally kinda get to me. I'd be in the middle of going at it and between sets just find myself listening to what's being played and feel less then motivated. I tell you what thought with this stuff I couldnt' really notice a word of any the horrible musice played just me and the weights. Almost like I was alone. I like that.
 
WIerd thing happened the other night. I did legs and performed alot of forced reps, drop sets and static contractions. I was VERY sore the next day. Like the kinda of soreness that was going to last a few days. Then I took some REM that night, which I didn't take the night before. I took the rem with some exceed before I went to bed and woke up completely fine.
